The vivo X300 FE is the more premium phone on the specifications consulted, with a flagship-class processor, sharper AMOLED display, telephoto camera and wireless charging. The realme C85 is listed at a much lower price in India and, in its Malaysia specification, has a larger screen and higher typical battery capacity. These are not like-for-like price tiers, and the C85’s chipset varies across the regional listings: check the exact local model before buying.
Price difference in India
At the time the listings were consulted in 2026, 91mobiles showed an Amazon price of ₹19,990 for the realme C85 and ₹94,999 for the vivo X300 FE, a difference of ₹75,009. The C85 figure is a changing retailer offer; it should not be treated as a fixed price or launch price. The vivo India store also displayed ₹94,999 for the 12GB+256GB X300 FE, alongside an MRP of ₹119,999. Check current stock, seller, configuration and price before ordering.

Check the C85 variant before comparing performance
The official realme Malaysia page specifies a Snapdragon 685, while the India C85 entry on 91mobiles lists a Dimensity 6300. realme notes that configurations can vary by country and region, but that general caveat does not establish which processor belongs to every Indian C85 listing. Confirm the exact SKU with the seller or manufacturer for your market; do not treat either chipset as a universal C85 specification.
With that qualification, the X300 FE’s listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 positions it as the more premium performance package among the pages consulted. This is a specification comparison, not a benchmark or sustained-performance test.
Screen size versus display detail
The Malaysia-listed C85 gives you the larger panel at 6.8 inches and advertises refresh rates up to 144Hz. Its 1570 × 720 LCD resolution is substantially lower than the X300 FE’s 2640 × 1216 AMOLED panel. The X300 FE is smaller at 6.31 inches, but its specifications point to a sharper display and a different panel technology. Refresh-rate figures alone do not establish which screen will look better or feel smoother in every use.

Camera versatility and charging
On paper, the X300 FE offers more camera options: main, wide and telephoto rear cameras, plus a 50MP front camera. The C85 Malaysia page lists a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Pixel counts do not establish image quality, and the consulted specifications do not provide hands-on camera results for these exact regional models.
The C85 has the higher stated typical battery capacity—7000mAh versus 6500mAh—but the X300 FE lists faster wired charging and 40W wireless charging on the Singapore page. Capacity and charging rates do not prove real-world battery life. vivo cautions on its Singapore page: “The resistance to splashes and water is not permanent and may be reduced due to daily use.” That statement and the IP68/IP69 listing are specific to the Singapore product page; verify the rating for the version sold in your market.
Which phone makes more sense?
- Consider the realme C85 if a lower observed India listing price, a large screen and high nominal battery capacity matter more to you. Verify the local chipset, storage, connectivity and warranty before purchase.
- Consider the vivo X300 FE if you are willing to spend substantially more for the listed flagship processor, higher-resolution AMOLED display, telephoto camera and wireless charging.
Both recommendations are based on listed specifications and observed prices, not testing. Compare local offers using the same storage configuration where possible, and check warranty coverage and network-band compatibility for your region.
