Both India-market phones are listed with a 7,000mAh battery and 45W wired charging. A reliable current price difference cannot be established from the available price snapshots: the C85 figures are launch-period prices, while the P4x listing shows later variant prices that vary unusually across configurations and colors.

The P4x 5G is the stronger choice on the chipset specification: it is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, compared with the C85 5G’s Dimensity 6300. That makes the P4x the more promising option if processor capability is your priority, but the cited sources do not include benchmark results comparing these exact phones. Do not treat the chipset difference as a measured estimate of how much faster one handset is in everyday use.

Which has the better display and protection?
Screen size
The C85 5G has the larger reported display at 6.8 inches, compared with 6.72 inches on the P4x 5G. Both are reported to have HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Choose based on whether the slightly larger screen matters more to you; the available figures do not establish a broader display-quality advantage.
Dust and water protection
The C85 5G is reported with an IP69 rating, versus IP64 for the P4x 5G. That is a difference in the listed ingress-protection ratings, not a guarantee that either phone is covered for liquid damage. Check the exact model’s warranty and water-damage terms before relying on its rating, and do not assume that a protection rating makes a phone suitable for every exposure.
Are battery and charging different?
Both phones are reported with a 7,000mAh battery and 45W wired charging, so those headline specifications do not distinguish them. Gadgets360’s C85 5G launch report attributes claims of 22 hours of video playback, 50 hours of calling and 145 hours of music playback to the company. These are manufacturer claims, not independently tested results in the cited sources; no directly comparable runtime figure is provided for the P4x 5G.
What is the price difference in India?
The available figures do not support a dependable current, like-for-like price difference. Gadgets360 reported the C85 5G’s launch prices as ₹16,499 for 4GB/128GB and ₹17,999 for 6GB/128GB. Its introductory offer prices were ₹14,999 and ₹16,499 respectively, inclusive of coupons and discounts. These are historical launch-period prices, not current offers.

Gadgets360’s P4x 5G product page reports a 4 December 2025 release and lists prices that vary by configuration and color. Its examples range from ₹20,499 for an 8GB/256GB Lake Green variant to ₹29,999 for an 8GB/128GB Lake Green variant. Because the listed examples are unusually inconsistent, treat them as a page snapshot, not a verified present-day market price.
Before deciding which costs less, check current retailer listings for the same RAM and storage configuration, color, stock status and discount conditions. The C85 launch configurations listed above are not directly equivalent to every P4x configuration, and comparing an old introductory offer with a later product-page listing would not show today’s price gap.

- Consider the P4x 5G if the higher-tier chipset listed for it is your main priority.
- Consider the C85 5G if you prefer the larger reported screen or want the higher reported IP rating, after checking warranty terms.
- Do not choose on battery capacity or charging wattage alone: both are reported at 7,000mAh and 45W.
- Do not assume one takes better photos from megapixels alone. The sources identify the C85’s Sony IMX852 sensor and video limit, while the P4x listing gives a 50MP + 2MP rear-camera setup; they do not establish comparative image quality.
For a practical purchase comparison, use the exact variant and a live price from the retailer you plan to use. Color, stock and offer conditions can change the amount you actually pay.
