The main published hardware differences are charging speed and camera resolution: the C85 lists up to 45W charging and 50MP/8MP cameras, while the C83 lists up to 15W and 13MP/5MP cameras. A reliable price difference cannot be stated without matching local prices and storage configurations.

These figures come from realme’s Singapore C85 5G specifications and India C83 5G specifications. They describe published specifications, not comparative lab results. In particular, dynamic or virtual RAM is not the same as physical RAM.
What is actually different?
Charging: the C85 has the higher listed ceiling
realme lists up to 45W fast charging for the C85 and up to 15W for the C83. That makes the C85 the stronger specification on charging wattage, but the figures alone do not establish real-world charging times. Charging performance and the supplied charger can depend on the specific market and retail SKU, so check the local package details.
Cameras: more megapixels on the C85, not a quality guarantee
The C85 lists a 50MP Sony IMX852 rear camera and an 8MP front camera; the C83 lists a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The C85 therefore has higher listed resolutions, but megapixel counts and aperture figures do not prove which phone takes better photos. No independent comparative camera testing is established here.

Memory and storage depend on the region and SKU
The published configurations are not directly equivalent across these regional pages. The Singapore C85 listing gives a maximum configuration of 24GB dynamic RAM and 256GB storage, while realme’s India C83 page lists 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB options with dynamic expansion. Realme notes that C85 maximum configurations vary by country and region; verify the exact physical RAM and storage in the listing for your market.
What is similar?
Same named processor, but no measured performance verdict
Both specification pages name the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. That is a useful point of parity on paper, but it is not evidence that the phones deliver identical performance: no matched benchmark or real-world performance test is established.

Same headline display size, resolution, and refresh rate
Both are listed with a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD at 1570 × 720 and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Brightness figures are not a clean cross-region comparison: realme’s India C83 page gives 700 nits typical and 900 nits HBM, while its Singapore C85 page lists panel-dependent typical brightness around 975 nits and 1,200 nits HBM. Those regional figures should not be treated as a controlled test showing one display is brighter.
Same stated typical battery capacity
Both models list a 7,000mAh typical battery. Capacity alone does not establish how long either phone lasts between charges; that depends on use and would require comparable testing.

What is the price difference?
A dependable C85-versus-C83 price gap is not established by the available like-for-like prices. The realme India store listing showed the C83 5G with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at ₹19,999 against a ₹24,999 MRP when checked. That is a live offer for one Indian configuration, not a permanent price or verified street price. A comparable current C85 India price was not established, so subtracting or estimating a difference would be misleading.
For a useful comparison, check both phones in the same country, at the same time, and with matching storage where possible. Promotions and available configurations can change the result. A secondary Gadgets 360 comparison page may help identify comparison points, but where it conflicts with the manufacturer’s regional specification pages, use realme’s pages for the listed specifications.

Which phone should you choose?
Consider the C85 if charging speed or camera resolution matters most
On published specifications, the C85 offers the higher charging wattage and higher-resolution front and rear cameras. Those are hardware distinctions rather than proof of faster charging in every condition or better image quality.
Compare local deals and exact configurations before deciding
Since the models share their named chipset and headline battery and display figures, the practical choice may come down to the actual local price, physical RAM and storage, charging needs, and preferred camera hardware. Check software details and warranty for the local variant as well; the India C83 specification page lists realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, but software information should be verified for the particular market and page revision.
