The specification figures for the 16x and some C83 details above come from 91mobiles, not independent testing. realme’s India pages are the primary sources for the C83 details and the existence of an official 16x purchase page; the latter does not establish a complete specification sheet or price.

What the listed prices do—and do not—show
On 91mobiles’ comparison page, the observed Amazon listings were ₹17,499 for the C83 and ₹22,599 for the 16x, a difference of ₹5,100 in the C83’s favor at those listed prices. However, realme India separately displayed ₹19,999 for the C83 in the 4GB+64GB configuration. Retailer, configuration, stock and promotions can differ, so the two sources do not establish a definitive like-for-like price gap.
Before buying, compare the price for the same RAM and storage tier, and note the seller and date. The C83’s three official configurations are established, but the available official 16x page does not provide enough information to confirm its matching tiers. Treat any Amazon price as a changing listing rather than a guaranteed current offer.

Display: C83 refresh rate versus 16x screen size
realme lists a 144Hz display for the C83. 91mobiles describes both phones as LCD and lists the C83 at 6.7 inches and the 16x at 6.8 inches. The 16x is therefore marginally larger according to that comparison, but the available information does not establish its refresh rate or provide an independent display assessment.
Cameras: higher megapixel counts are not a quality verdict
91mobiles lists a 50MP rear and 8MP front camera for the 16x, compared with a 13MP rear camera on the C83 from realme’s official listing and a 5MP front camera for the C83 in the comparison. These are resolution figures, not evidence that one phone produces better photos. Image quality also depends on factors that these listings do not compare, and no independent camera test is established here.
Battery, performance and durability
Battery
The C83’s 7,000mAh battery is listed by realme India. The manufacturer also advertises battery-use figures on its C83 product page, qualifying them with: “Data comes from realme Lab. Actual results may vary.” Those figures are company lab claims, not independent test results. The available sources do not establish the 16x battery capacity or a directly comparable endurance result.

Performance

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the C83 if its officially listed 7,000mAh battery, Dimensity 6300 5G, 144Hz display or available storage options fit your priorities—and its live price suits your budget.
- Consider the 16x if the higher camera-resolution figures or slightly larger display listed by 91mobiles appeal to you, after confirming the exact variant and current retailer listing.
- Wait to compare if price is the deciding factor: verify same-day prices for comparable RAM and storage configurations rather than relying on the different listings cited above.
The evidence available does not establish a complete 16x specification sheet, matched pricing, independent camera results, or comparable battery and performance tests. Those gaps make a firm overall winner difficult to justify from specifications alone.
