The realme 8i and iQOO Z11x 5G come from different generations, and their listed prices are not an apples-to-apples comparison: the 8i figures are its September 2021 launch prices, while ₹30,999 was displayed for an iQOO Z11x store listing when retrieved. The Z11x has newer listed hardware, a larger battery and faster charging, but check current prices and stock before deciding on value.
How the two phones differ
realme announced the 8i in India in September 2021. iQOO’s India materials identify the Z11x as a 5G model. The supplied official specifications do not establish every network-band detail, so the safe distinction is that the Z11x is explicitly identified as 5G, while the cited realme 8i launch announcement does not describe the 8i as a 5G phone.
The generations matter when interpreting the comparison: the Z11x has a newer listed processor and more recent product positioning, while the realme 8i’s launch-era specifications and price are historical. The table below uses manufacturer specifications for features and labels prices by their specific context.

Performance and connectivity
The Helio G96 and Dimensity 7400-Turbo are different-generation chipsets, with the latter appearing in iQOO’s Z11x specification. That establishes the hardware difference, not a quantified performance gap: the available evidence includes no independent benchmark or side-by-side test. realme described the 8i at launch as India’s first smartphone powered by the Helio G96; that is realme’s launch claim, not an independently verified ranking.
For buyers who need 5G, the Z11x is the clearly identified option in these sources. The cited realme announcement does not identify the 8i as 5G, so do not treat the 8i as equivalent on connectivity based on this comparison.

Screen size and refresh rate
The Z11x has the larger listed screen at 6.76 inches and a specified resolution of 2344 × 1080. realme lists the 8i at 6.6 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cited iQOO parameter-page information does not state the Z11x refresh rate, so a refresh-rate winner cannot be established from these specifications alone.
Battery and charging
On paper, the Z11x has a 7,200mAh battery and 44W charging, compared with the 8i’s 5,000mAh battery and 18W charging. Those are manufacturer-listed capacities and charging rates, not measurements of everyday battery life or charging time. Actual endurance depends on usage and conditions; capacity alone does not guarantee how long either phone will last for a particular user.

The camera counts and megapixel figures describe hardware, not resulting image quality. The cited sources provide no independent photo or video comparison.

Subtracting the old realme launch prices from the Z11x store figure would produce a numerical gap, but not a meaningful current price difference. To compare what you would pay, check live prices for the exact storage variant, offers, and stock in the same market and at the same time. Which one fits your priorities?
- Consider the iQOO Z11x if you want a model explicitly identified as 5G and prioritize the newer listed processor, larger stated battery, faster stated charging, or available 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. Verify its current variant-level price before buying.
- Consider the realme 8i if its available condition and current price suit you and its listed 120Hz display, 6GB + 128GB maximum listed configuration, and other features meet your needs. Its 2021 launch price should not be mistaken for today’s market price.
- Compare actual camera or speed quality only with independent tests; the listed megapixels and processor names do not establish how either phone performs in real use.
