The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G has the sharper FHD+ Super AMOLED display and a three-camera rear array with OIS; the realme 16T 5G has the higher stated refresh rate and a larger stated battery. On the prices displayed by 91mobiles for Amazon India when accessed in 2026, realme was ₹3,717 more expensive, but the figures may change and may not represent equivalent storage variants.
One important market caveat: Samsung’s specifications below are from its India product page, while realme’s official specifications are for the Philippines. Confirm the Indian realme 16T 5G variant’s specifications before buying.

Which display is better on paper?
The Samsung has the more detailed panel specification: its 1080 × 2340 resolution and Super AMOLED technology contrast with the realme’s 720 × 1570 LCD. That gives Samsung the stated advantage in resolution and panel type, while realme lists a higher maximum refresh rate: 144 Hz versus Samsung’s 120 Hz.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.78 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 6.78 inches
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM
- Android 16, Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm), Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm)
- Rear: 200 MP, f/1.9, 23mm (wide), 1/1.56", 0.5µm, dual-pixel PDAF, OIS, 8 MP, 112˚, (ultrawide), 1/4.0", 1.12µm, Front: 50 MP, f/2.4, 23mm (wide), 1/2.88", 0.61µm
Refresh rate and resolution describe different things. A higher refresh ceiling does not mean sharper text or images, and these figures alone do not establish which phone looks better in everyday use.
How do the cameras compare?
Samsung lists three rear cameras—50 MP, 5 MP and 2 MP—and OIS. realme lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP monochrome camera. Samsung therefore offers a broader rear-camera specification on paper, including stated optical image stabilization. The listed megapixel counts and components do not establish comparative photo or video quality.

For selfies, realme lists a 16 MP front camera and Samsung lists a 12 MP one. Megapixel count alone is not a reliable measure of image quality. Samsung’s India page also lists 4K video recording at 30 fps.

Battery capacity, charging and what comes in the box
realme’s Philippines page lists an 8000 mAh typical battery and 7780 mAh rated capacity. Samsung’s India page lists 6000 mAh typical capacity and 5830 mAh rated minimum capacity. These manufacturer figures make realme’s stated battery larger, but capacity by itself does not prove longer runtime; no comparable endurance test for these exact phones is established here.
Rank #3
- 6.79 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1440 x 3136 pixels
- 512GB Storage, 16GB RAM
- Android 16, Qualcomm SM8850-AC Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm), Octa-core (2x4.6 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix L + 6x3.62 GHz Oryon V3 Phoenix M)
- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 22mm (wide), 1/1.56", 1.0µm, multi-directional PDAF, OIS, 200 MP, f/2.6, 65mm, (periscope telephoto), 1/1.56", 0.5µm, multi-directional PDAF, OIS, 3x optical zoom, 50 MP, f/2.0, 16mm, 116˚ (ultrawide), 1/2.88", 0.64µm, Front: 32 MP, f/2.4, 24mm (wide), 1/3.1", 0.7µm
- 161.8 x 76.9 x 8.2 mm (6.37 x 3.03 x 0.32 in)
Both brands list 45 W charging, though realme specifies 45 W SUPERVOOC. Samsung says its 45 W fast charger is sold separately. realme’s Philippines page lists a charger, USB cable, SIM ejector and protective case in the box, while noting that box contents can vary by market. Check the Indian retail package rather than assuming the Philippines contents apply.
Storage, SIM and software differences
realme lists 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB configurations, UFS 2.2 storage and microSD support. Samsung’s linked India listing is specifically the 8 GB + 128 GB variant and supports microSD cards up to 2 TB. Its SIM tray is hybrid, so the tray arrangement matters if you intend to use expandable storage alongside two SIMs. realme lists dual nano-SIM and no eSIM for the Philippines model.
Rank #4
- 6.57 inches, AMOLED, 1B colors, 1080 x 2372 pixels
- 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, microSDXC (uses shared SIM slot)

- Rear: 50 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/2.93", 0.60µm, PDAF, Auxiliary lens, Front: 50 MP, f/2.4, 23mm (wide)
The software labels on the pages are realme UI 7.0 and One UI 8.5. These listings do not, by themselves, establish update duration or confirm that every regional SKU ships with the same software version. Verify the precise Indian model and its support terms before purchase.
India price difference: a snapshot, not a fixed deal
When accessed in 2026, 91mobiles’ comparison page displayed Amazon India references of ₹29,999 for the realme 16T 5G and ₹26,282 for the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G. The displayed difference was ₹3,717, with realme higher. These are a dated price snapshot, not guaranteed checkout prices; sellers, offers and variants can change the amount. Compare matching storage configurations and verify the current seller price before ordering.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Samsung on specification grounds if the higher-resolution Super AMOLED display, listed OIS, three rear cameras, or Samsung India listing matters most to you.
- Consider the realme if its listed 144 Hz refresh ceiling, larger stated battery capacity, or 256 GB configuration is more relevant—and first confirm those features for the Indian SKU.
- Compare total cost, not just handset price: Samsung states that its 45 W charger is sold separately, while realme’s box contents are market-dependent.
These are specification-based trade-offs, not a tested overall winner. The cited comparison page did not provide an independent head-to-head performance, camera-quality or battery-endurance test for these models.
