The realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition is a themed version of the realme 16 Pro 5G, not a hardware upgrade: launch coverage reports the same core specifications. In India, the special edition was reported at ₹62,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Whether it is worth paying more comes down to its Hogwarts styling, custom interface and collectible box—and the live price difference for the standard model, which can change by seller and offer.
What is different about the Harry Potter Edition?
The special edition launched in India on September 21, 2026, as a limited edition. It keeps the standard phone’s reported specifications while adding a Magic Brown Hogwarts-inspired design, themed interface elements and a collectible gifting box. The edition name does not indicate faster performance or more capable hardware, according to Gadgets 360’s launch report.
Exterior and interface
Realme’s product page describes a Hedwig-inspired camera surround, Hogwarts-themed details on the back and frame, and a light-sensing decoration that changes color. The interface includes castle wallpapers, themed boot and fingerprint animations, and more than 30 redesigned native app icons. Realme cautions that the color-changing effect may gradually wear with daily use; it describes this as a material characteristic, not a product defect. See the official realme product page for the design details.

What comes in the box?
Realme lists a limited-edition gifting box with a Hogwarts acceptance letter, character postcards, house bookmarks and house crest pins. Gadgets 360 also reports a Hogwarts-logo phone case and phone pin among the package contents. Confirm the included items with the seller before ordering, particularly if the box contents matter to you.

Are the specifications the same?
Launch coverage reports the standard realme 16 Pro and Harry Potter Edition share the following core hardware. These are manufacturer and launch-report specifications, not independent test results.
| Specification | realme 16 Pro | Harry Potter Edition |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.78-inch; 1,272 × 2,772 resolution; up to 144Hz | Same, per launch coverage |
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G | Same, per launch coverage |
| Rear cameras | 200MP main and 8MP ultrawide | Same, per launch coverage |
| Front camera | 50MP | Same, per launch coverage |

| Wired charging | 80W | Same, per launch coverage |
| Dust and water ratings | IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K | Same, per launch coverage |
The IP ratings are not a promise that liquid damage is covered. Realme says water resistance may become less effective with extended use and that liquid damage is not covered by warranty. Review the warranty terms before treating water resistance as protection against a particular accident.

What is the India price difference?
Gadgets 360 reported a launch price of ₹62,999 in India for the Harry Potter Edition’s single 12GB/256GB configuration. A 91mobiles comparison listing displayed ₹44,999 for the standard realme 16 Pro, implying an indicative ₹18,000 difference if the listings refer to the same configuration and comparable seller terms. That comparison figure is not confirmed as a same-day authorized price for the matching standard configuration, so treat the gap as indicative, not a guaranteed saving. Check the launch price report and comparison listing, then verify the live offers before buying.

When comparing prices, match RAM and storage and check the seller, discounts, warranty and return terms. The special edition’s reported price is for 12GB/256GB; a lower standard-model listing may not reflect the same configuration or purchase conditions.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the Harry Potter Edition worth choosing?
- Choose the Harry Potter Edition if you specifically value the themed design, interface and included collectibles enough to pay any verified premium.
- Choose the standard realme 16 Pro if your priority is the reported core hardware and the standard model is available at a lower price for the same RAM and storage.
- Check availability first: a 91mobiles tracker showed the Harry Potter model at ₹62,999 and out of stock on October 4, 2026. That is a tracker snapshot, not a guarantee of stock at every retailer; confirm current availability directly with the seller.
Because the edition is limited, check the exact configuration, included box contents, seller identity, warranty and return policy on the live listing. A product page or price tracker does not guarantee that a particular retailer currently has stock.
