The realme 16 Pro+ 5G and vivo V70 FE share a 200 MP main-camera headline and a 7000 mAh battery, but take different approaches elsewhere. realme lists a 3.5× telephoto camera and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4; vivo specifies a 90 W charging rating, an 8 MP wide-angle camera and a detailed 6.83-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display. There is no reliable, same-date price comparison for matching configurations in the available figures, so check live listings before deciding on value.
realme 16 Pro Plus vs vivo V70 FE: specifications

realme 16 Pro+ 5G: a listed telephoto option
realme specifies a 200 MP main camera and a 50 MP 3.5× telephoto camera. That gives the published rear-camera lineup a dedicated telephoto option for framing distant subjects or portraits.

vivo V70 FE: main and wide-angle cameras
vivo specifies a 200 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP camera with a 120° field of view. The wide-angle camera is the stated secondary option, rather than the telephoto configuration realme lists.
Both phones list a 50 MP front camera. Megapixel counts and camera specifications alone do not establish which handset takes better photos; that would require comparable testing across conditions and camera modes.

How do their chipsets, displays and charging differ?
Chipsets
The realme uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while vivo lists a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo. Without comparable independent benchmark or gaming tests, the chipset names do not justify declaring one phone faster. Workload, software and thermal behavior can also affect actual performance.
Displays
vivo gives a fuller set of display figures: 6.83 inches, AMOLED, 2800 × 1260 resolution and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. It also lists 1900-nit local peak brightness. realme markets a curved AMOLED display with claimed peak brightness of 6500 nits, but the available product-page details do not provide a matching full specification set. The peak and local-peak brightness labels are not directly comparable measurements, so the numbers do not establish that one screen is brighter in ordinary use.

Charging
Both companies list 7000 mAh battery capacity. realme specifies 80 W charging and vivo 90 W. These are rated specifications, not a comparison of measured charge time or battery endurance; capacity and charging wattage alone cannot establish either result.
What is the price difference in India?
The available price figures do not establish a dependable, same-date price gap for equivalent configurations. vivo’s official store listed an MRP of ₹53,999 for the V70 FE 8GB+128GB configuration; see the vivo India store listing. The surfaced realme information does not provide a matching India price for the same memory and storage configuration. For a fair comparison, check both listings on the same day, in India, and match RAM and storage as closely as possible. Compare the payable prices after applicable offers rather than treating an MRP or an undated retailer snapshot as the amount every buyer will pay. Calculate the gap as the realme price minus the vivo price only after those checks; a positive result means realme costs more at that moment.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider realme if the listed 3.5× telephoto camera is more useful to you than a wide-angle secondary camera, or if you prefer the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 specification.
- Consider vivo if its stated 90 W charging rating, 6.83-inch 120 Hz display details, or IP68/IP69 ratings are more relevant to your priorities.
- Compare current prices before buying if value is the deciding factor: the available figures do not support a stable, variant-matched price winner.
Both brands list IP ratings for their respective phones. Those manufacturer-stated ratings describe tested protection categories; they do not make a handset damage-proof or guarantee protection in every exposure or after wear and damage.
