Which has the faster display?
The vivo listing gives its AMOLED screen a 6.83-inch diagonal, just 0.03 inches more than realme’s India-listed 6.8-inch display. realme lists the higher refresh rate—up to 144 Hz versus vivo’s 120 Hz. Refresh rate can make supported interface animations and scrolling appear smoother, but the specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in brightness, color or outdoor use.
Performance and benchmark figures
91mobiles reports higher scores for the realme 16 Pro Plus in both benchmark comparisons. These are figures published by 91mobiles, not tests conducted for this article; the retrieved page does not identify the test year, so 2026 is the access year rather than a confirmed benchmark date.
Rank #2
- The larger 6.9-inch display enhances productivity and media consumption, giving extra room for multitasking, side-by-side apps, and immersive viewing without feeling unwieldy in hand.
- Camera improvements focus on ultra-wide performance, capturing more detail at the edges of the frame and reducing distortion, making landscape shots, group photos, and architecture photography cleaner.
- Refined gesture controls and haptic feedback make interactions feel more precise, so scrolling, tapping, or switching between apps is smoother and more satisfying compared to previous Plus models.
- Audio enhancements optimize speaker output for spatial awareness, delivering clearer separation between instruments and voices in music, video playback, and FaceTime calls without relying on headphones.
- Durable yet lightweight materials balance heft and portability, with a subtly textured back and reinforced edges that improve grip while maintaining the premium appearance expected from the Plus series.
| Benchmark listed by 91mobiles | realme 16 Pro Plus | vivo S2 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Geekbench multi-core | 4,058 | 2,825 |
| AnTuTu | 1,434,981 | 956,029 |
| PCMark battery result | 19 h 00 m | 14 h 57 m |
These figures favor realme in the listed results, but benchmark scores are not a guarantee of everyday speed or battery life. The PCMark result is a benchmark figure, not a promise of how long either phone will last for a particular person’s mix of screen time, network use and apps.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteBattery capacity and charging
The listed capacities are close: realme specifies a typical 7,000 mAh battery in India, while 91mobiles lists 7,050 mAh for vivo. The vivo figure is nominally 50 mAh larger, but capacity alone does not establish longer runtime; screen behavior, processor efficiency, software and network conditions matter. realme’s official India specification lists charging up to 80 W, compared with 44 W in 91mobiles’ vivo listing. Charging speed in practice can vary with conditions and compatible equipment.

What the price difference means
In the 91mobiles snapshot accessed October 7, 2026, the realme listing was ₹14,059 above the vivo listing. Treat that as a snapshot rather than a current quote. It is not a definitive value comparison unless both prices are live and refer to comparable storage, seller terms and stock. realme’s India page offers multiple configurations, while the comparison summary shows 128 GB for both, so confirm the exact variants before deciding whether the realme’s listed camera hardware, charging power and benchmark advantage justify any live price premium.
