The realme 15x 5G is the larger-screen, higher-capacity-battery option; the vivo X300 FE is a smaller, sharper AMOLED phone with a higher-tier listed chipset and dedicated telephoto camera. In India, the displayed prices are far apart, but the figures below apply to different memory configurations and should not be treated as a like-for-like price gap.

India price difference: compare the same configuration and date
When checked in 2026, the realme India store displayed a selling price of ₹27,999 and MRP of ₹33,999 for the selected realme 15x 8GB+256GB configuration. The store lists 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB versions. The displayed selling price is a live store figure, not a guaranteed price. realme India Store.
The vivo India store displayed ₹94,999 for the selected X300 FE 12GB+256GB configuration when checked in 2026. That is not the only published price for the model: vivo announced ₹79,999 for 12GB+256GB at launch, then later announced an 8GB+256GB variant at ₹84,999 and updated announcement prices of ₹89,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹99,999 for 12GB+512GB. Do not subtract the displayed prices and call the result a definitive model-to-model premium: the selected configurations have different RAM and storage, and vivo’s displayed price differs from its launch and later announced prices. Check both live listings on the day you buy and compare matching memory tiers where available.

Which phone fits your priorities?
Choose the realme 15x for a bigger screen and listed battery capacity
Its 6.8-inch panel gives more physical screen area, and its listed refresh rate reaches 144Hz. The HD+ resolution is lower than the vivo’s, so the choice is between size and refresh-rate ceiling on one side and pixel density and AMOLED on the other. The 7,000mAh typical capacity is also higher on paper, but capacity alone does not predict how long either phone lasts in your use.
Choose the vivo X300 FE for a compact AMOLED phone and camera versatility
The 6.31-inch display is smaller but has a 2640 × 1216 resolution and listed 460 PPI. Its rear setup includes a dedicated OIS telephoto camera and an 8MP wide camera alongside the OIS main camera. Those components offer different focal-length options on paper; independent image-quality testing would be needed to judge results.
Consider workload and price tier separately
The realme’s Dimensity 6300 and vivo’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 specifications indicate different platform tiers. There is no named independent benchmark in the available material comparing these exact phones, so do not infer a specific speed advantage, gaming frame rate or thermal outcome from chipset names alone. Your decision should also account for the large difference between the selected store configurations and their current prices.

realme lists 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage, up to 10GB dynamic RAM, and a dual-card tray that supports either two SIMs or one SIM plus a memory card. Its listed package includes the phone, USB Type-C cable, 80W adapter, protective case, SIM tool and screen film. realme markets the 15x as “IP69 Pro” and its specifications cite IP66/68/69 compliance alongside special claims. The manufacturer cautions against immersion in daily use, notes that water resistance may diminish with wear, and excludes liquid damage from warranty. vivo lists IP68 and IP69 for the X300 FE. A rating is not a promise that a phone is waterproof or that liquid damage will be covered. Optional vivo telephoto extender
vivo says its ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 provides a 200mm-equivalent focal length. It is an optional accessory, not included in the standard phone package; the extender and accessories kit must be purchased separately and are stated to work only with the X300 FE.
