Neither phone wins outright. The realme 15T 5G has the stronger display panel, the higher-resolution selfie camera and the higher stated charging wattage. The realme P4R 5G has the larger stated battery and the higher maximum refresh rate, and its launch starting price is lower. Which one is the better buy depends on whether you put screen quality or battery endurance first.
The short answer, by priority
If you watch a lot of video, read on a phone, or care about how the screen looks, the 15T’s AMOLED panel is the stronger case. If you mainly want longer time between charges, or you want the smoothest scrolling the spec sheet allows, the P4R’s larger battery and 144Hz LCD point the other way. Both phones are India-market models, and the figures below are manufacturer-listed values unless stated otherwise.

Display and processor
Display
The 15T uses AMOLED, which lights each pixel on its own and usually gives deeper blacks and higher contrast than LCD. Its 1080 × 2372 resolution also means roughly 2.3 times as many pixels as the P4R’s 1570 × 720 HD+ panel. The P4R’s LCD goes to 144Hz, against the 15T’s 120Hz, so it refreshes more often. A higher refresh rate makes motion look smoother, but it does not make text or photos sharper. For reading and media, the 15T’s panel is the better match on paper. Whether the P4R’s extra refresh rate matters to you depends on how much you scroll fast-moving feeds or play high-frame-rate games.

Chipset and memory
The 15T’s Dimensity 6400 Max is the newer chip, built on a 6nm process and clocked up to 2.5GHz. The P4R uses the Dimensity 6300. Neither manufacturer’s listing includes a benchmark in the sources used here, so we cannot say how the two perform in real use. The memory tiers also differ: the 15T starts at 8GB and tops out at 12GB, while the P4R starts at 4GB and reaches 6GB. If you run many apps at once, the lowest P4R configuration gives less headroom than any 15T configuration.
Battery, charging and weight
The P4R has the larger battery: 8,000mAh typical against 7,000mAh for the 15T. The figure that matters for endurance is the typical rating, but the rated figure is lower on the P4R (7,780mAh) than its typical value suggests, so the advantage is real but smaller than the headline gap. The 15T charges faster on paper, at 60W, while the P4R’s 45W SUPERVOOC is slower. The 15T listing also gives an 80W in-box adapter, which does not match its stated 60W charging rate; the listing does not explain the difference, so check the box contents and the charging rate on the unit you buy.

Charging and endurance have not been independently tested in the sources used here. Treat the battery and charging figures as manufacturer claims. realme’s endurance claims come from realme Lab and are subject to the manufacturer’s caveat that results vary.

Cameras
Both phones use a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, so the main sensor’s resolution is the same. Resolution alone does not tell you how photos will look, because processing, sensor size and lens quality also shape the result. The 15T adds a 2MP black-and-white portrait sensor, which is a secondary sensor and not a second main camera. The selfie cameras differ more clearly: 50MP on the 15T against 8MP on the P4R. More megapixels on the front do not guarantee better selfies, so judge the front camera on sample images rather than the number.
Software
The 15T ships with realme UI 6.0 on Android 15. The P4R’s product page advertises realme UI 7.0 on Android 16. The P4R specification page names only realme UI, so the product page is the better reference for its software version. Both are manufacturer-published, and update timing can vary by market and carrier. If the latest Android version matters to you, confirm the update commitment with realme before buying.

Price difference: what can and cannot be compared
Two sets of launch prices exist, and they are not the same kind of number. The 15T prices come from an India Today launch report from 2025. The P4R price comes from the realme India newsroom and is a starting launch price with no configuration attached. Neither is a current selling price.

realme P4R 5G starting price
The realme India newsroom describes the P4R as starting at INR 16,999. The announcement does not say which RAM and storage combination that price covers, and the page date was not visible in the source used. The prices for the other P4R configurations are not stated in the sources used.
Why the gap is not a current price difference
- The P4R’s INR 16,999 is a starting launch price, while the 15T’s figures are per-configuration launch prices from a different report. They do not describe the same configurations.
- The lowest 15T listed is INR 20,999 for 8GB/128GB. Subtracting it from the P4R starting price gives a number that compares different RAM tiers and different dates, so it should not be read as a price difference.
- Neither figure reflects today’s market. Retail prices change with stock, bank offers and marketplace discounts, so the price you pay may differ from both.
To make a fair comparison, search current listings for the closest matching RAM and storage on each phone. Note the date you checked and any card or bank condition attached to the price. The realme store listing shows both models, but in the search used here it did not display usable prices.
Which phone fits which priority
- Screen quality and media: the 15T’s AMOLED panel and higher pixel count are the stronger match.
- Battery endurance: the P4R’s 8,000mAh typical capacity is the larger figure, though its charging speed is lower.
- Fast charging: the 15T’s stated 60W rate is faster than the P4R’s 45W.
- Selfies: the 15T’s 50MP front camera has more resolution on paper, but test the output before relying on it.
- Smooth motion: the P4R’s 144Hz LCD refreshes faster than the 15T’s 120Hz panel.
- Lower entry price and lighter weight: the P4R’s launch starting price is lower and the 15T is lighter; compare current prices for matching configurations first.
What this comparison does not establish
- No independent benchmark, hands-on test or camera comparison was used. Performance, photo quality and real battery life are therefore not confirmed.
- The figures are for the India-market variants. Specifications and marketing can differ in other regions.
- The prices are launch-era figures. Current price and stock must be checked before making a purchase decision.
The sections above show where the manufacturer figures point, but they cannot settle which phone is better in your hands. Check current listings and reviews before you buy.
