The realme 15 Pro 5G is the more display- and camera-focused choice on paper, with a 144Hz curved display, three 50MP cameras and 80W charging. The vivo T5x 5G lists a larger 7,200mAh battery, a 120Hz LCD and 44W charging. There is no reliable like-for-like price difference to quote without checking current prices for the same memory and storage configuration: vivo’s India store listings retrieved on October 4, 2026 showed different prices for two T5x variants, while a current official realme price was not established.

Which phone has the better display?
The realme 15 Pro’s curved 144Hz display is the stronger specification if you value a higher refresh rate and a curved-screen design. vivo’s T5x has a larger stated screen size at 6.76 inches, but it is an LCD panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. That makes the central trade-off display type and design versus screen size—not simply the numbers 144Hz and 120Hz.

Do not treat the advertised 6,500-nit realme peak brightness and vivo’s 1,200-nit HBM figure as directly comparable. Manufacturers may use different brightness measurement conditions, and the cited figures are not results from a shared test.
Which has the stronger camera setup?
The realme lists three 50MP cameras, including a stabilized Sony IMX896 main camera, and advertises 4K recording at 60fps across its lenses. The vivo has a 50MP Sony IMX852 rear main camera, a 2MP bokeh camera and a 32MP front camera. On the published hardware, realme offers more rear-camera versatility and explicitly lists optical image stabilization on the main camera.

Those specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. Megapixel counts and advertised recording modes cannot replace a controlled comparison of image processing, stabilization, low-light performance and recording quality.

The T5x has the larger listed battery: 7,200mAh, compared with the realme’s 7,000mAh typical capacity (6,830mAh rated). The realme, however, lists faster charging at 80W versus vivo’s 44W. Battery capacity alone does not prove longer real-world runtime, and charging wattage alone does not establish how long a full charge takes.

Chipset, software and durability
Chipset
realme lists the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while vivo lists the Dimensity 7400-Turbo; both are described as 4nm chips. These specifications identify the processors but do not show which phone performs better in games or sustained workloads. That would require independent, controlled testing rather than an inference from model names or manufacturing process.

Software
The published versions are Android 15-based software for the realme and Android 16 with OriginOS 6.0 for the vivo. Software versions can change through updates and may differ by region, so verify the version on the specific unit and check each manufacturer’s update information if long-term support is a deciding factor.
Durability
Both manufacturers list IP68/IP69 ratings. realme cautions that protection can decline with wear. A rating is not a promise that every exposure is safe, nor does it establish warranty coverage for liquid damage; check the manufacturer’s conditions and warranty terms before relying on water resistance.

Price difference in India
vivo India Store search results retrieved on October 4, 2026 showed the following T5x listings. Store prices are volatile and may reflect listing-specific offers.
| Phone and configuration | Price shown | Source and context |
|---|---|---|
| vivo T5x, 6GB+128GB, Cyber Green | ₹27,999 | vivo India Store listing retrieved October 4, 2026: 6GB+128GB listing. |
| vivo T5x, 8GB+256GB, Star Silver | ₹34,999 | vivo India Store listing retrieved October 4, 2026: 8GB+256GB listing. |
| realme 15 Pro 5G | Current official India price not established | A matched current realme price and RAM/storage configuration were not available in the cited official material. |
These T5x prices are for different configurations, so the ₹7,000 difference between the two listings is not a like-for-like comparison and should not be presented as the price gap between the phones. A meaningful comparison requires checking the realme and vivo prices on the same day for the same RAM and storage tier, while accounting for color, discounts and other offer conditions.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the realme 15 Pro if your priorities are a curved 144Hz display, the listed three-camera 50MP setup with OIS on its main camera, 4K 60fps video claims across lenses, or higher stated charging wattage.
- Consider the vivo T5x if you prefer its listed 7,200mAh battery, a 6.76-inch LCD, or one of its documented 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations.
- Compare before deciding on price by matching RAM and storage and checking live India listings for both models on the same date. The available store prices do not establish which phone currently costs less at an equivalent configuration.
- Do not pick solely on chipset or headline battery numbers if gaming performance, endurance or camera quality is decisive; the published figures here do not establish those real-world results.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
