Processor
The realme’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and the Redmi’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 are different platforms, but chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster in every task. The available product information does not provide controlled, independent head-to-head benchmark results. Display
realme advertises a 1.5K 144Hz screen. Xiaomi Global highlights a 6.83-inch 1.5K panel, while 91mobiles lists the Redmi at 120Hz. The published details therefore point to a realme refresh-rate advantage on paper and a notably large Redmi display; confirm the refresh rate for the exact Redmi market version before buying. A higher refresh-rate specification does not by itself establish better overall image quality or battery life.
Camera specifications: resolution is not the same as image quality
realme specifies three 50MP cameras, including a Sony IMX896 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP selfie camera. That gives it a higher stated resolution for the front and ultra-wide cameras than the Redmi details listed here. Xiaomi UK specifies a 50MP OIS main camera and 8MP ultra-wide; 91mobiles lists a 32MP front camera. Battery, charging and what the numbers do not tell you
For India, Xiaomi lists a 10,000mAh typical silicon-carbon battery, 100W HyperCharge and up to 27W wired reverse charging. realme lists a 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging. These published capacity and charging-rate figures favor the Redmi on paper, but they do not establish real-world screen-on time or how long either phone takes to charge under typical use.

Do not apply the India Redmi capacity to every region: Xiaomi UK specifies a 9,210mAh typical battery and says an adapter is not included, while Xiaomi India lists 10,000mAh and includes a 100W adapter in the package contents. Water-resistance ratings and their limits
realme advertises IP69+ protection. Xiaomi Global lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings and cites a TÜV SÜD water-resistance test of 2 meters for 72 hours. Xiaomi says the device is not a professional waterproof product, resistance can decline with wear, and liquid damage beyond test conditions is not covered. Its underwater camera mode does not extend the phone’s water-resistance conditions; Xiaomi recommends a professional waterproof case for that mode. Price difference: check matching versions before comparing
