The realme 14 Pro+ 5G is the more obvious fit if you want a specified 3× periscope camera; the Motorola Edge 60 Pro adds wireless charging and has an official commitment of three OS upgrades and four years of security patches. Both list a 6,000 mAh battery and a 120 Hz curved display. In a 2026 91mobiles price snapshot, Motorola was ₹4,800 cheaper, but that is a changeable listing—not a guaranteed price or a like-for-like configuration quote.
realme 14 Pro+ vs Motorola Edge 60 Pro: specifications at a glance
| Specification | realme 14 Pro+ 5G | Motorola Edge 60 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.83-inch, 2800 × 1272, 120 Hz; local peak brightness listed as 1,500 nits (realme India product page) | 6.7-inch pOLED, 2712 × 1220, 120 Hz; HDR10+, 10-bit color and a 4,500-nit peak-brightness claim (Motorola India product page) |
| Rear cameras | 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope with OIS and 3× optical zoom; 50 MP Sony IMX896 main camera with OIS; 8 MP ultra-wide (realme India product page) | 50 MP primary, 10 MP 3× telephoto and 50 MP ultra-wide (91mobiles comparison listing) |
| Front camera | 32 MP (realme India product page) | 50 MP (91mobiles comparison listing) |
| Processor | Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (realme India product page) | MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition (91mobiles comparison listing; Motorola India product page extraction did not expose a chipset line) |
| Battery | 6,000 mAh typical capacity; rated capacity 5,860 mAh (realme India product page) | 6,000 mAh (Motorola India product page) |
| Charging | 80 W SUPERVOOC wired; realme claims 1–50% in 24 minutes (realme India product page) | 90 W TurboPower wired, 15 W wireless and 5 W wired power sharing (Motorola India product page) |
| Software support | 91mobiles lists three years of OS updates and four years of security updates; this duration was not verified on the realme product page reviewed | Three OS upgrades and four years of security patches, stated on Motorola’s India product page |
| Displayed price | ₹34,990 | ₹30,190 |
The two displayed prices and the ₹4,800 difference are a 91mobiles listing snapshot accessed in 2026, not launch prices or guaranteed live offers. Prices can change and may refer to different sellers or configurations. The figures are not a fair value comparison unless RAM and storage variants are matched.
Which phone is better for camera zoom?
The realme’s camera distinction is explicit: its 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope camera has optical image stabilisation and 3× optical zoom. The 91mobiles listing describes Motorola’s telephoto as a 10 MP 3× camera. Both therefore list a dedicated 3× telephoto option, but the realme source identifies its periscope design and sensor; those specification differences alone do not establish which phone takes better pictures.
realme advertises up to 120× digital zoom. That is a manufacturer feature claim, not 120× optical zoom or evidence that images at that magnification retain the detail of the 3× optical camera. For actual image quality, compare independent photo samples and tests rather than megapixel counts or maximum digital-zoom labels.

Ultra-wide and selfie cameras
The listed rear ultra-wide camera is 8 MP on realme and 50 MP on Motorola; the listed front camera is 32 MP and 50 MP, respectively. These are resolution specifications, not a controlled comparison of image quality, field of view, color, low-light performance or video. If you often shoot landscapes or selfies, look for sample images from both phones in the conditions you care about.
How do their displays compare?
realme lists the larger screen: 6.83 inches versus Motorola’s 6.7 inches. Both list a 120 Hz refresh rate and high-resolution curved displays. Motorola specifies a pOLED panel and lists HDR10+ and 10-bit color; its India product page also claims a 4,500-nit peak brightness. realme lists a local peak brightness of 1,500 nits.

Those peak-brightness numbers should not be read as a direct lab comparison. The product pages do not establish a shared measurement method or identical conditions. They do not, by themselves, show which screen is brighter in everyday use or outdoors.
Which one charges faster, and what about battery life?
Both manufacturers state a 6,000 mAh battery capacity. realme’s page gives both typical capacity (6,000 mAh) and rated capacity (5,860 mAh); Motorola’s page lists 6,000 mAh. Capacity alone cannot establish how long either phone lasts in real use.

Motorola lists higher-wattage wired charging—90 W versus realme’s 80 W—and also supports 15 W wireless charging. realme claims a charge from 1% to 50% in 24 minutes for its 80 W SUPERVOOC system. That is a manufacturer claim, not a shared test against Motorola. The reviewed product information did not establish charger-in-box contents or comparable real-world charging times, so check what the specific retail package includes.
What do performance and software support specifications establish?
realme identifies a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor on its India product page. The 91mobiles comparison listing identifies Motorola’s processor as a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition. It also shows Geekbench multi-core scores of 4,759 for Motorola and 3,232 for realme, but the listing does not provide enough test-method or device-configuration detail here to treat those figures as a definitive measure of everyday speed, sustained performance or gaming.

Motorola’s India product page states “3 OS + 4 Years SMR”: three OS upgrades and four years of security patches. The three-year OS and four-year security-update durations shown for realme come from the 91mobiles listing and were not verified on the realme product page reviewed. If support length is decisive, confirm realme’s current commitment for the exact India model before buying.

Quick Recap
- Lean toward realme if its clearly specified 50 MP 3× periscope OIS camera, slightly larger display or documented 80 W charging claim best fits your priorities.
- Lean toward Motorola if wireless charging, the listed 50 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP selfie camera resolutions, or Motorola’s stated OS and security-patch commitment matter more.
- Check further before deciding if your priority is camera image quality, all-day battery life, sustained gaming performance or outdoor screen visibility. The specifications and price snapshot do not settle those real-world comparisons.
