Razer’s Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition is a serialized, one-time release limited to 1,337 units worldwide. It was announced on December 9, 2025, with a listed starting price of US$1,337. US preorders opened on February 10, 2026, and MacRumors reported they had sold out; availability elsewhere and any remaining stock should be confirmed with Razer directly.
When did the Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition go on sale?
Razer announced the mouse on December 9, 2025. According to MacRumors, U.S. preorders began February 10, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific and had sold out. Preorder windows for Europe and Asia were scheduled for February 11, 2026. Those dates describe the original preorder schedule, not a guarantee of current availability.
Razer says the mouse is available exclusively through Razer.com and select RazerStores while stocks last. Check Razer’s product page or contact a local RazerStore for current stock; inventory can change, and the reported U.S. sellout does not establish whether other regions or later restocks are available.

How much does it cost?
Razer’s product page lists a starting price of US$1,337. The price is strikingly close to the production run of 1,337 units, but the listed starting price should not be assumed to include taxes, shipping, or any region-specific charges.

What is different from the original Boomslang?
The original Boomslang was marketed as the world’s first gaming mouse and was known for 2,000 DPI mechanical ball tracking and on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment. The anniversary edition preserves the recognizable snake-head silhouette and true ambidextrous shape, but replaces the original tracking platform with contemporary wireless hardware and optical components.

Every unit is uniquely serialized. Razer lists the following in the box:
- Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition mouse
- Razer Mouse Dock Pro, which charges the mouse and functions as its dedicated wireless receiver

- Exclusive LED collector display frame showing the mouse’s internal components
What lighting and controls does it have?
The mouse has nine-zone Razer Chroma RGB lighting, while the dock has eight-zone underglow. Razer says the lighting supports more than 16.8 million colors and can react dynamically with over 300 Chroma-integrated games. The mouse has eight programmable controls configured through Razer Synapse.

Is the Boomslang sold out?
MacRumors reported that U.S. preorders sold out after opening on February 10, 2026. That report does not settle current inventory for every country, store, or later restock. Because Razer describes the edition as a one-time run and sells it through Razer.com and select RazerStores while stocks last, check those official channels for your region before making a purchase decision.
