The 2022 Razer Blade 17 with an RTX 3080 Ti is a high-end gaming laptop, but “Blade 17” does not identify one fixed specification. Razer offered several GPUs, processors, memory capacities, and displays, so benchmark results and screen details apply only to the configuration tested. In Tom’s Hardware’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider test, its RTX 3080 Ti unit reached 116 fps at 1080p with the highest settings; that is a result for one review system and workload, not a guarantee for every model.
Which Razer Blade 17 configuration is this review about?
Razer’s support specifications identify the 2022 Blade 17 family as model RZ09-0423x. The family included multiple configurations rather than a single standard build. Its listed options include RTX 3060, RTX 3070 Ti, and RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPUs; Intel Core i7-12800H or Core i9-12900H processors; and 16 GB or 32 GB of memory. The RTX 3080 Ti configuration has 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM. See Razer’s Blade 17 (2022) support specifications for the model-family details.
Razer announced the Blade 17 as part of its 2022 Blade range at CES on January 4, 2022, with graphics options up to the RTX 3080 Ti. The launch announcement’s description of “desktop-class performance on-the-go” was Razer’s marketing statement, not an independent benchmark finding. Razer’s CES 2022 announcement

Shadow of the Tomb Raider benchmark
Tom’s Hardware reported 116 fps for its RTX 3080 Ti Blade 17 in Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1080p and the highest settings. In that same run, it reported 112 fps for the MSI GE76 Raider, 107 fps for the Alienware x17 R2, and 89 fps for the Aorus 17. These figures compare those specific review systems under that test, not every configuration or game. Tom’s Hardware’s Razer Blade 17 review

Why results vary
A game benchmark is meaningful only alongside its resolution, graphics preset, laptop configuration, and test conditions. A result at 1080p cannot be treated as a prediction for gaming at the laptop’s native QHD or UHD resolution. Notebookcheck also reviewed an RTX 3080 Ti Blade 17 with a Core i7-12800H and published game-specific and synthetic results; those should be read in the context of each stated test rather than combined into one general performance score. What display options did the 2022 Blade 17 offer?
Razer listed four screen variants for the family. The right choice depends on whether you prioritize refresh rate, resolution, or a balance of both.

TechRadar’s RTX 3080 Ti review configuration used the 240 Hz QHD (1440p) display, paired with an Intel Core i7-12800H. Those details describe that review unit, not every RTX 3080 Ti Blade 17. TechRadar’s Razer Blade 17 (2022) review

Razer’s published figures are inconsistent: the Blade 17 support specifications list up to 165 W for the RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU, while Razer’s product page says up to 175 W for models with RTX 3070 Ti or RTX 3080 Ti graphics. Because those sources do not establish one unambiguous figure for a specific RTX 3080 Ti SKU, it is not appropriate to present either number as the definitive power limit for every such laptop. What did the RTX 3080 Ti review configuration cost originally?
TechRadar listed its review configuration at $3,999.99 in the US, £4,299.99 in the UK, and AU$7,199 in Australia. These are historical prices for that review configuration and publication-era markets, not current offers or a guide to the price of used or refurbished units. No current listing price or availability is established here.
When comparing a second-hand or refurbished Blade 17, verify the actual GPU, processor, display, memory, condition, seller, and warranty. The family’s range of configurations means that a listing labeled only “Razer Blade 17” may not match the RTX 3080 Ti model discussed in a review.

Is the 2022 Razer Blade 17 RTX 3080 Ti worth considering?
It is worth considering if you specifically want a 2022 Blade 17 with the RTX 3080 Ti and can verify the individual unit’s configuration and condition. The available benchmark demonstrates strong performance in one 1080p game test, while the model family’s differing screens and hardware make generalizing from a single review risky. A purchase decision should be based on the exact unit—not just its product name—and on benchmarks that match the games and resolution you intend to use.
