Compare the measurements for the exact variant you intend to buy; a model name is not a fit guarantee. These manufacturer-listed dimensions illustrate why checking the selected size matters:

Dimensions help you compare frames, but they cannot predict individual comfort. Consider how the bridge or nose pads sit, and try the sunglasses on if possible. Ray-Ban’s cited RB2140 page identifies the frame as High Bridge Fit and lists a low-bridge fit for one configuration; the RB3025 page lists adjustable nose pads.

Do the lens options change the choice?
Yes. Tint, polarization, and filter category depend on the lens variant, not just the frame name. Check the lens code and description on the exact product you are considering.

In short, do not assume every Wayfarer is non-polarized or every Aviator is polarized. Confirm the lens description and category on the selected configuration.
Can you get either model with prescription lenses?
Ray-Ban’s cited product pages show prescription availability for both model families. Confirm that the particular size, frame, and lens configuration you want supports your prescription, and check the prescription requirements shown for that configuration.
