There is no verified one-size-fits-all Alchemist build for Ragnarok X: Next Generation (ROX). Choose stats and skills around your role—solo damage and farming, group support, or PvP—and check them against your server’s current client: an official July 2026 notice said class-skill and combat adjustments were planned, with final effects dependent on the live version. The build ideas below are a starting framework from a secondary guide, not tested rankings or official balance advice.
What the Alchemist does in ROX
BlueStacks describes Alchemist as an advancement of Merchant that combines combat, crafting, support skills, and Homunculus companions. Its guide says the first advancement unlocks at level 40 and names Creator and Genetic as later progression. That guide frames Alchemist as a flexible class rather than a single damage build: stats can support physical attacks, magic-oriented skills, accuracy and casting, or durability. Your preferred role should determine which trade-offs you accept.

The stat suggestions below reflect the BlueStacks guide’s broad recommendations, not comparative testing. Use them as a starting point, then check how your current skill descriptions scale and what your character needs in actual content.

The guide highlights the following skills by role. Check their names, current effects, and any costs in your live client before investing; the descriptions below are not a substitute for current tooltips.
- Cart Revolution: described as an area-damage option whose damage scales with cart weight. It may suit farming or groups of enemies.
- Acid Terror: described as single-target magic damage with a chance to poison, making it a candidate for focused damage if its live behavior fits your build.
- Potion Pitcher: described as ally healing and support, useful to consider when group utility matters.
- Summon Homunculus: the defining companion skill in the guide’s overview; companion choice can add support, durability, or damage utility.
- Bio Explosion: described as burst damage that consumes a Homunculus. Treat that cost as a major trade-off and confirm the current effect before building around it.
The source does not establish an optimal skill-point allocation or a reliable rotation, so avoid treating this list as a fixed priority order.

Choose equipment by damage plan and risk
BlueStacks contrasts a mace, described as offering balanced physical and magical bonuses, with a two-handed axe, described as offering higher damage at a defense trade-off. Those are guide-level descriptions, not confirmed current-server item rankings. Check the weapon’s live stats and your actual survivability before choosing.
The guide also mentions armor and accessories as build-dependent choices, but the available information does not establish current item names or best-in-slot gear. Compare what your client shows for the activity you play; do not assume a named example from a secondary guide is still available or optimal.

- Lif: support and healing.
- Amistr: durability.
- Filir: fast physical attacks.
- Vanilmirth: magic damage orientation.
Use these roles as a way to think about what your character lacks—for example, a durable companion for a fragile damage build or support utility for solo play. Their present skills and performance are not established here; verify them in your client before committing.
Check the current version before committing
ROX balance is version-sensitive. An official notice dated July 3, 2026, for a scheduled July 7 update said class-skill and combat balance adjustments were planned and that final effects depend on the actual game version. The notice also said Base Level 60 unlocks the Divinity System after its introductory quest. These details date to that notice and should not be read as confirmation of later live-server status. The notice stated: “We will continue to monitor the performance of all classes, statuses, and skills in live combat, and make ongoing optimizations based on adventurer feedback and battle data.” Before changing your build, check official patch notes and the skill descriptions shown by your own server. The original Ragnarok Online Alchemist information is a different game and should not be used to infer ROX mechanics.
