Qualcomm identifies SM6375 as the Snapdragon 695 5G Mobile Platform, and its published specification lists display support up to 120Hz—not 144Hz. That means the reported prospect of mid-range 144Hz gaming phones using SM6375 is unconfirmed by Qualcomm’s documentation. A display’s refresh rate also does not guarantee that a game will render at the same frame rate.
What is Snapdragon SM6375?
SM6375 is the part number for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G Mobile Platform, according to Qualcomm’s 2021 product brief. It is not identified there as a separate gaming chipset or a distinct 144Hz variant.
The Snapdragon 695 is a mid-range mobile platform with a 6nm process, an octa-core Kryo 660 CPU running at up to 2.2GHz, Adreno 619 graphics and a Snapdragon X51 5G modem-RF system. Qualcomm’s brief also lists Quick Charge 4+, LP4x memory, and eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.2 storage support. These are platform capabilities; phone makers may choose which options to implement.
Does SM6375 support a 144Hz display?
Qualcomm’s published product brief specifies on-device FHD+ (1080 x 2520) and HD+ (900 x 1600) display support up to 120Hz. Its Snapdragon 695 product page likewise describes 120fps FHD+ display support. The published SM6375 specification therefore does not substantiate an unqualified claim that the platform supports a 144Hz panel.

Qualcomm does list FHD+ at 144Hz for a different chipset: the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, part number SM6650, in its product brief. That is a separate platform, and its display specification should not be attributed to SM6375.
What the reported 144Hz gaming-phone claim does—and does not—establish
The claim that Qualcomm is preparing SM6375 for mid-range 144Hz gaming phones remains a report, not a confirmed product announcement in the Qualcomm material cited here. Those official sources do not identify a specific handset, announce a dedicated gaming SKU, or confirm a new SM6375 variant. Without a verified handset announcement, the phone and its panel remain unconfirmed.

Three different things can be confused in this claim:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →- Chipset display support: the display modes Qualcomm lists for the platform; for SM6375, the brief says up to 120Hz.
- Phone panel refresh rate: the refresh rate of the screen selected and implemented by a handset maker.
- Game frame rate: how many frames a particular game actually renders. It depends on the phone, software, thermal behavior and whether the game supports the relevant frame rate.
Qualcomm markets the Snapdragon 695 for gaming and lists Adreno 619 graphics. The product page claims up to 30% GPU performance improvement over the predecessor; that is Qualcomm’s comparison, not an independent benchmark. Neither gaming language nor a display refresh figure establishes the frame rate a particular game will sustain. No performance tests of an SM6375 phone with a 144Hz panel are established by the cited sources.

Other documented Snapdragon 695 capabilities
Qualcomm lists support for both mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G through the Snapdragon X51 modem, including SA and NSA modes and a theoretical peak downlink of up to 2.5Gbps. That peak is a platform figure, not a promise of real-world speed: network availability, handset implementation and operating conditions matter, and regional device configurations can differ.
The same brief lists Quick Charge 4+, LP4x memory and eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.2 storage support. These specifications describe options available to device makers rather than features guaranteed in every Snapdragon 695 phone.

What to verify if a handset is announced
A confirmed phone would need to be assessed on its own specifications and performance, not just its chipset name. Check for:
- The panel’s stated refresh rate and whether the handset maker confirms that combination with the chipset.
- Game-specific frame-rate support and sustained performance under load, rather than inferring results from the screen’s refresh rate.
- Regional 5G bands and availability, plus the phone’s memory and storage configuration.
- Price and software-support details from the handset maker.
Until those device-level details are available, Qualcomm’s documentation supports a clear conclusion about the chipset specification: SM6375 is Snapdragon 695, and its published display ceiling is 120Hz. It does not confirm a 144Hz SM6375 gaming phone.
