SEGA has announced that PSO2: New Genesis ver.2 (NGS ver.2) will run a collaboration with the Japanese discount retailer Don Quijote in November 2026. The announcement, dated 7 October 2026, confirms the month and the theme of the in-game items, but it does not yet give exact start or end dates, full item names, or how players will obtain the items.
What SEGA confirmed
SEGA’s official notice, published on 7 October 2026, says the NGS ver.2 and Don Quijote collaboration is scheduled for November 2026. The notice names the Don Quijote tie-in through two mascot-style motifs, “Donpen” and “Donko,” and says the collaboration will include a range of items rather than a single reward.

In English, the core sentence of SEGA’s Japanese wording reads roughly: “This collaboration will feature various collaboration items, including accessories based on ‘Donpen’ and ‘Donko,’ as well as build parts such as acrylic stands.” That is our translation of SEGA’s Japanese text, not an English-language statement from SEGA. The original is available in SEGA’s announcement at https://www.sega.jp/topics/detail/261007_3/.
What the collaboration includes
Two categories of item are named so far:
- Accessories based on Donpen and Donko.
- Build parts, with acrylic stands given as the example.
“Build parts” is a term for in-game content. The acrylic stands are items inside PSO2: New Genesis ver.2, not physical goods. SEGA’s announcement does not establish any physical merchandise release or retail sales channel for this collaboration, so readers should not expect to buy real acrylic stands or Donpen and Donko products from this announcement.

Dates, access, and regions
The announcement gives only the month. It does not state:
- the opening or closing date of the collaboration;
- how players receive the items, such as purchase, event reward, or drop;
- which regions or servers will receive the items.
Until SEGA publishes those details, treat any specific start date, price, or acquisition method circulating elsewhere as unconfirmed.

About Don Quijote in SEGA’s release
SEGA’s collaboration press release, distributed through PR TIMES on 7 October 2026, describes Don Quijote as a general discount retailer with more than 540 domestic stores, selling food, daily necessities, clothing, home appliances, and variety goods. That store count is SEGA’s own description in its release and has not been independently verified. It describes the partner, not the availability of any collaboration item. The release is at https://prtimes.jp/main/html/rd/p/000007735.000005397.html.
