PlayStation Plus members can claim three Monthly Games for October 2026: F1 25 (PS5), Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5), and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5 and PS4). Sony’s announced claim window is October 6 through November 2, 2026. The lineup may vary by region, so check your regional PlayStation Store when the games become available.

When can you claim the October games?
Sony says the three October games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, October 6, until Monday, November 2, 2026. The dates refer to the monthly claim window; check the PlayStation Store for your region on release day because availability may differ by region. PlayStation Plus is a paid membership, so these are membership benefits rather than games offered without a subscription.

September’s Monthly Games—Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes—can be added to members’ libraries through Monday, October 5, 2026. If you want any of those titles, claim them before that deadline. Sony lists the deadline in its Monthly Games announcement.

Which October game fits your play style?
- For racing: Choose F1 25 for solo Career or My Team 2.0, or online play. It is the only PS5-only racing title in this month’s lineup.
- For tense hunts: Hunt: Showdown 1896 centers on tracking bosses, competing for a bounty and escaping with it. Play solo or bring up to two teammates.
- For a group shooter: Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 supports four-player online co-op and two-player local split screen, and is the only title in this selection listed for both PS5 and PS4.
