Promevo announced Insights by Promevo on October 5, 2026, describing it as a platform that brings visibility into Gemini Enterprise adoption, AI agents, and Google Cloud costs. The product page lists the service as available by request in early preview and says it is currently bundled with gPanel. The launch materials describe intended capabilities, but do not establish independent security validation, measured customer outcomes, public pricing, or a general-availability date.

What Promevo says Insights does

Promevo positions Insights as a shared view of information that organizations may otherwise find across separate Google management consoles. Its announced scope combines Gemini Enterprise license usage and adoption trends, an inventory of AI agents and their permissions, and Google Cloud costs. The company also describes historical data retention, license optimization, and cross-project security posture enforcement as capabilities.

That is the vendor’s description, not an independently tested feature assessment. The announcement does not specify which data fields are collected, how long each category is retained, or how deeply license utilization, cost attribution, agent identity, and permissions can be examined. Promevo’s October 5 announcement is available at Promevo’s launch post.

How Insights relates to Google’s Gemini Enterprise tools

Insights is not presented as a replacement for Google’s native agent-management features. Google Cloud’s April 22, 2026 announcement about Gemini Enterprise describes monitoring active agents, changing configurations, and receiving real-time status alerts through email and chat. Promevo, in turn, frames Insights as a layer that brings together adoption, agent inventory and permissions, and cloud-spend information, with historical context and usage associated with dollars.

The available announcements do not provide a feature-by-feature comparison, so they do not establish that Google’s native tools cannot answer a particular governance or cost question. Google’s product context is described in its Gemini Enterprise announcement.

What Promevo says about data access and prompts

Promevo says Insights connects through read-only APIs. Its product-page FAQ states: “No. Insights is strictly read-only and does not read, store, or display prompt or response content.” That is a company representation, not an independent security finding.

“Read-only” should not be read as meaning that no customer information is stored: Promevo also describes extended historical data retention. The public materials reviewed do not explain the precise data fields, storage design, retention controls, or independent security assessments. Organizations evaluating the platform should ask for those details and for the evidence supporting the access and privacy claims. See the Insights product page.

Preview availability, gPanel, and pricing

Promevo’s product page currently presents Insights as an early preview available by request. Its FAQ says it is currently offered alongside gPanel as a bundled solution. The same page distinguishes the products by role: Insights is described as the visibility layer for cloud and AI infrastructure, while gPanel provides administrative control over Google Workspace.

The reviewed materials do not state a public price, a general-availability date, or self-serve signup terms. Because preview access and bundling can change, buyers should confirm current terms directly with Promevo rather than assume the early-preview arrangement will remain in place.

Questions to resolve before evaluating Insights

The launch gives a useful outline of the product’s intended scope, but not enough technical or commercial detail to judge fit. An enterprise evaluation can start with these questions:

  • Which Google data sources and APIs are connected, and what permissions does each connection require?
  • What specific fields are collected, stored, and retained, and what retention controls are available?
  • How far back does the historical view extend, and can administrators inspect or export that history?
  • How are license usage and Google Cloud costs attributed, and at what level of detail?
  • Which agents, identities, and permissions are included in the inventory, and how is coverage verified?
  • What security controls, audit evidence, deployment options, and access controls are available?
  • How does the gPanel bundle work, and what are the current preview, pricing, and availability terms?

Keep Promevo’s implementation services separate

In a separate May 19, 2026 announcement, Promevo described a Gemini Enterprise Accelerator, Google Cloud Marketplace agent-building and launch support, and custom AI application development and integration. These are adjacent implementation services, not features that the available materials establish as included in Insights. The announcement is available at Promevo’s AI services announcement.
