Our verdict on ZayDM

ZayDM is a cloud Instagram marketing platform for creators, small businesses, ecommerce brands, coaches and agencies. It connects through Meta’s official Instagram API to start automated conversations from post or Reel comments, Story replies and DM keywords. Alongside messaging, it supports Instagram post and Reel scheduling, publishing, link and document delivery, follow-ups, and attribution by content or automation. Web and API access are available, with MCP controls for supported workflows from ChatGPT or Claude.

Published monthly plans are arranged for progressively deeper automation. Free costs $0 per month and includes Comment Automation, an Opening Message, Public Comment Replies, Basic Analytics and Templates. Starter costs $9.99 per month and adds DM Keyword Automation and Story Reply Automation. Pro costs $19.99 per month and adds Smart Follow-Ups, No-Click Reminders, Link Click Analytics, Follow Gate and Lead Capture. Agency costs $99.99 per month and adds Account-Specific Automations and a Multi-Account Dashboard, while retaining the Pro follow-up and analytics features. A seven-day refund period is listed.

The strongest fit is for teams whose conversion path centers on Instagram conversations: comment triggers can open DMs, journeys can include calls to action and resources, and PDF, DOC or DOCX files can be delivered directly. Analytics cover DMs, public replies, eligible link clicks and CTR, helping connect content with inbox activity. ChatGPT and Claude integration extends control through MCP tools, while scheduling keeps publishing in the same workflow. Organizations needing broader social channels or a messaging scope beyond Instagram should compare alternatives; ZayDM is most suited to focused Instagram DM campaigns.
