Züs review
A distributed, encrypted storage option for teams migrating from major cloud providers.

Züs is a decentralized cloud-storage platform for consumers, developers, and enterprises. Its Vult app provides private file storage, distributed data placement, end-to-end encryption, encrypted sharing, and shared-drive collaboration. The broader platform also supports S3-compatible storage, ACID-compliant data handling, configurable storage providers, backup, disaster recovery, and AI-data infrastructure. It is best suited to organizations replacing centralized storage or planning a distributed encrypted-storage migration.
Pricing is allocation-based rather than structured around conventional user tiers. The Starter plan costs $1 per allocation per year and includes an annual storage allocation; Vult documentation identifies the Starter allocation as 8.33 GB. A Custom storage allocation can scale up to 2 TB. There is no free plan, so teams should assess expected storage needs before choosing Züs. This model fits buyers who prefer storage-based planning, while organizations seeking a free entry tier or familiar per-user pricing may prefer another service.
Züs has broad migration and ecosystem coverage, with integrations for AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive. It supports file migration from each of those services, alongside S3-compatible storage for application and infrastructure use. Security features include fragmented storage, split-key security, blockchain-backed contracts, proxy re-encryption for private encrypted sharing, access revocation, and dynamic addition or replacement of storage providers. Public and private sharing, shared drives, and secure collaboration extend its use beyond simple backup. Choose Züs when distributed placement, encrypted sharing, provider flexibility, or migration matters most; choose an alternative if you need a free plan or a conventional storage subscription.
