Z+F LaserControl Office and Scout are laser-scanning applications from Zoller + Fröhlich GmbH. They are designed for surveying, documentation, mobile mapping and other professional 3D scanning work involving Z+F IMAGER series scanners, Z+F mobile systems and handheld scanner data. The suite combines scanner control, point-cloud processing, registration, visualization, measurement, photography and thermography workflows. Scout adds field-oriented capabilities for teams working with multiple scanners and Windows tablets.
Its strongest area is the connection between capture and registration. Users can control scanners directly, transfer data over WLAN or LAN, and perform real-time field registration with quality checking. Multi-scanner synchronization with Windows tablets supports coordinated field workflows. Once data is available, reversible point-cloud masking, cloud-to-cloud, plane-to-plane and target registration, plus measurements for angles, distances, areas and perimeters, provide a focused toolkit for registration and review.
