XX-Mod-Manager is an open-source desktop application for organizing and applying mods that use 3dmigoto-based loaders. It is aimed at players who want a visual way to manage character-focused mod collections rather than working directly through source folders. Mods can be imported from folders or archives by drag and drop, displayed as visual cards, filtered by character, and organized into separate presets.

The Free plan is GPLv3-licensed and includes Windows and Linux downloads, mod importing, and preset management. Its workflow goes beyond cataloging: users can edit covers, descriptions, hotkeys, metadata, and source links; apply selected configurations; create virtual links between mod sources and loader target folders; and automatically open the game and mod loader. In-game refresh is also available after applying configurations, while plugins provide a way to extend functionality.

Its ecosystem fit is specialized rather than broad. The manager supports 3dmigoto-based loaders and integrations including ZZMI, SRMI, GIMI, WWMI, and XXMI. That makes it a reasonable choice for users working within those loader families, especially when visual organization and reusable character presets matter. The trade-off is scope: it is not a general-purpose mod manager, and conflict detection is not listed among its current capabilities. Linux is listed as supported but remains untested, and some automation features depend on Windows APIs. Users seeking wide game coverage, verified cross-platform automation, or automatic update monitoring should consider a different tool.
