xtraCHEF is a restaurant-focused back-office platform for operators, financial teams, culinary managers and outsourced accountants. It brings invoice scanning, digitization and line-item extraction together with accounts-payable automation, general-ledger coding, configurable approvals, food-cost analytics, inventory, recipe management and operational reporting. Restaurants can also track ingredient prices, calculate plate costs, manage budgets and connect purchasing and performance data across locations. Web, iOS and Android coverage supports desktop and mobile access.
The plan structure is organized around three tiers. On the House includes invoice capture and intelligent processing, document management, food cost management, procurement and rebates. Starter adds accounts payable automation, inventory management, recipe management, and reports and analytics. Chef's Choice adds advanced accounts payable workflows and advanced reporting and analytics alongside inventory, recipes and procurement. Pricing follows a contact-sales model, so the buying process is oriented toward matching the plan to the operation rather than selecting a published amount online.
Its ecosystem fit is a major consideration for restaurant groups and finance teams. xtraCHEF integrates with QuickBooks Online, Toast, Sage Intacct, Compeat, CTUIT, Restaurant365, Xero, ChefTec, Oracle E-Business Suite and Jonas Club Software. The platform's focus is broader than expense capture alone, extending into procurement, inventory, recipes and food-cost control. That breadth suits organizations that want connected financial and operational workflows, while a smaller restaurant seeking only basic expense tracking may find the scope more than it needs. Choose xtraCHEF when restaurant-specific cost visibility and multi-location coordination matter; consider a narrower tool when those capabilities are unnecessary.
