Xpert-Timer is time-tracking software for freelancers, teams, and businesses that need to record work against clients, projects, tasks, and assignments. It combines timer-based and manual entry with billable projects, hourly billing rates, reports, exports, and local or on-premise data storage. Teams can add attendance, breaks, overtime, holidays, and absences through the Works functionality, while browser access and Android synchronization extend tracking beyond the Windows installation.

Pricing is modular. Xpert-Timer Basic costs €5 per month for a single user and includes project tracking, timer and manual entry, reports, exports, and Windows installation. Pro costs €8 per user per month and adds multi-user network access, client and task tracking, browser access through XTWeb, budget control, and post-calculation. Works costs €10 per user per month for clock-in and clock-out tracking, break and overtime management, holiday management, and the XTCardreader interface. Pro & Works costs €12 per user per month, while Xpert-Timer cloud costs €12 per user per month with browser access, Pro features, and customer-server data storage. Complete costs €19 per user per month and combines the Pro, Works, and cloud modules with invoicing, document management, performance management, Outlook, and telephony modules. All products include a 30-day unrestricted trial.

Platform fit is the main dividing line. Xpert-Timer runs locally on Windows, supports Android mobile tracking, offers web access through XTWeb or XTCloud, and provides a REST API through XTCloud. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, Microsoft Outlook, and the REST API are listed integrations. That combination suits organizations prioritizing local control, offline tracking, exports, and established desktop workflows. Teams seeking broad mobile coverage or a platform centered on non-Windows desktop systems should look elsewhere. Xpert-Timer is the better choice for structured project and attendance tracking with on-premise requirements, while smaller teams wanting a free entry tier or wider platform coverage may find its paid, Windows-centered model less suitable.
