Xeams combines a standalone email server with a filtering gateway for organizations managing inbound and outbound email. It supports SMTP, POP3, and IMAP, and can run as a standalone server, as a spam firewall in front of an existing server, or in hybrid mode. Small teams that want self-hosted control, a complete mail server, or a gateway for an existing environment are the clearest fit. The product is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with API and self-hosted options also listed.

The Community Edition is free for personal and hobbyist use and provides spam filtering for up to 5 users alongside a complete email server. The Enterprise Edition starts at $1.6667 per user per month with annual billing for 1–9 users; the monthly rate for that tier is $1.9167. Annual pricing falls to $1.25 per user per month for 10–24 users, $1 per user per month for 25–49 users, and $0.8333 per user per month for 50–74 users. Monthly pricing is also listed at $1.4375 per user per month for 10–24 users. A 30-day free trial is available.

Xeams has a wide platform and ecosystem footprint for a product in this category. Listed integrations include Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Google Workspace, and SIEM systems through Syslog. Its feature set covers spam, virus, and phishing filtering; spam firewall and hybrid deployment modes; archiving and search; quarantine reports; live monitoring; URL sandboxing; DKIM, SPF, and DMARC; REST API access; email event webhooks; and end-to-end encryption. Choose Xeams when flexibility and mail-server depth matter more than a narrowly focused gateway. Teams seeking only basic filtering may find its broader server and deployment scope unnecessary.
