Our verdict on WunderMail
WunderMail is a Windows email client for Gmail and Google Workspace accounts. It uses the Gmail API and supports Gmail labels and inbox categories, making it a focused option for people who want Gmail features inside a Windows-native interface. Support for up to five accounts suits users managing several personal or work inboxes from Windows PCs or tablets. Touch and mouse interaction, sender avatars, and Windows Action Center notifications round out the desktop experience.
The pricing structure is straightforward. WunderMail Free is described as a fully featured version supported by ad banners. WunderMail Premium provides an ad-free experience and includes a 30-day free trial, with cancellation during the trial period at no cost. The published Premium price is 9.99 yearly in US dollars. This makes the free tier suitable for users who accept advertising, while Premium is intended for users who want the same core email experience without ad banners.
Offline access is a notable strength. WunderMail synchronizes the last 30 days of mail and supports offline reading, deleting, and sending. Real-time push notifications and Windows-specific alerts help keep incoming messages visible without relying on a browser tab. The trade-off is a narrow product scope: it is available for Windows only and does not provide a unified inbox, calendar, or send-later feature. Choose WunderMail for Gmail-focused desktop mail, offline actions, and Windows integration. Choose an alternative if you need broader platform coverage or a combined email and calendar workspace.
