WorkOrders is a hosted work-order management application for property management, field services, construction, manufacturing, and IT support teams. Its clearest fit is a service operation that receives requests through email, a customer portal, or an API and needs to turn them into assigned jobs. The product covers work-order creation, technician dispatch, status tracking, customer communications, photos, attachments, health-and-safety notes, and reporting. It is designed for small teams and larger crews, with monthly plans based on active-member caps.
Its intake and workflow coverage are the strongest reasons to consider it. WorkOrders supports Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365, and IMAP, while portal submissions and API requests can also become work orders. AI can extract summaries, urgency, sites, contacts, trades, and attachment descriptions. A first-technician-to-claim workflow supports dispatch, and customers can view jobs, submit requests, receive status emails, and reply in threads. The web application, iPhone field app, workload calendar, reports, and CSV exports give office and field users connected ways to manage active work.
Pricing starts at NZD 29 per month, with monthly billing and prices excluding GST. The 20-day offer is a trial rather than a perpetual free plan. Van includes unlimited work orders and customers, email intake, attachments, and customer status emails. Crew adds multiple inbound mailboxes, CSV reporting and exports, plus AI job summaries and extraction. Yard adds priority support, multi-site customer histories, onboarding, and data-import help. Fleet includes help moving history from an existing system, while seats and pricing are agreed with the vendor. Choose WorkOrders when request intake and dispatch are central; look elsewhere if vendor management, inspections, or preventive maintenance are core requirements.
