Worknice Workflows review
A focused HR workflow engine for structured employee lifecycle and compliance work.

Worknice Workflows is a no-code HR workflow automation engine within the Worknice HR platform. It is designed for HR teams that coordinate repeatable employee lifecycle processes, especially in organisations with structured people operations. Workflows can cover onboarding, role changes, promotions, leave, compliance renewals and offboarding. The product combines lifecycle-event triggers with tasks for HR, managers, IT and employees, along with employee records, forms, surveys, questionnaires, documents, e-signatures and self-service uploads. Role-, team- and filter-based assignments help route work to the right people.
The plan structure separates core workflow management from more advanced coordination features. Essentials includes paperless onboarding and offboarding, employee records, a self-service portal, documents and e-signatures, workflows and integrations. Premium adds everything in Essentials plus approvals, multiple organisations, webhooks, private integrations and a dedicated customer success manager. Worknice offers the product through contact sales and annual billing, so it is better suited to teams evaluating an organisational HR system than buyers seeking a self-serve purchase. There is no free plan.
Its strongest fit is an HR operation that needs visible workflow progress, activity graphs, overdue alerts, approval history and audit trails across recurring processes. Integrations include Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, MYOB, KeyPay, MicrOpay, Deputy, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Calendar, Notion, ClickUp, Monday, Jira, Google Sheets and Linear. That ecosystem supports connections across payroll, communication, scheduling and work management. Worknice should appeal to teams consolidating employee paperwork and approvals in one workflow layer. Smaller teams wanting a free or self-serve tool, or organisations requiring a native desktop or mobile platform, should look elsewhere.
