WorkJam Flexible Shift Management review
A strong fit for flexible shift staffing, not a complete store task-execution suite.

WorkJam Flexible Shift Management is an enterprise workforce-operations module for retailers and other organizations with frontline, hourly employees. It is designed for retailers primarily solving flexible shift staffing, extending existing workforce-management systems with employee self-service and manager controls. Employees can swap, drop, claim, or release shifts, while managers can publish open shifts and apply configurable bidding and eligibility criteria.
The staffing feature set is broad within its focus. The Open Shift Marketplace supports publishing and filling open shifts, and eligibility matching can account for skills, certifications, labor laws, and overtime rules. Mobile punch clocks, digital time cards, geofencing, and time attestation prompts address time capture across start times, breaks, overtime, and tips. The published platform supports web, iOS, Android, and API access. Open APIs and pre-built connectors connect with WFM, HRIS, payroll, and other systems, including UKG, Legion, Dayforce, ADP, Blue Yonder, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, Google, and DailyPay.
WorkJam lists paid plans without a free plan. Essential includes iOS, Android, and web access, a one-time data load, customer care, and enterprise security. Operations Elite 500 and Operations Elite 1000 add unlimited communication channels, surveys and polls, Knowledge Center, Branded Experience, and premium support. Staffing Plus variants add Simple Scheduling. The publicly listed pricing page is for Australia and displays AUD prices, while Flexible Shift Management is sold as part of WorkJam’s broader enterprise platform. Choose it when shift flexibility, eligibility, time capture, and workforce-system connectivity are the priority. Retailers needing core audits, proof of completion, or store task execution should choose a product focused on those workflows instead.
