Our verdict on Woot!
Woot! is an online retailer built around limited-time deals and daily sales, with shopping across electronics, home goods, clothing, sports, grocery, and other categories. It suits shoppers who want to browse current offers on the web or in mobile apps, rather than people looking for a dedicated price-tracking or comparison service. The service is free and available on web, iOS, and Android. Many deals last only while supplies remain or until the offer expires, so its appeal depends on finding something worth buying while it is available.
Woot! is oriented around discovery of active sales, not monitoring prices over time. The Android app supports sorting and filtering offers by category, and app-exclusive deals provide another route to current offers. Daily Digest and newsletters send updates about sales and events. But Woot! does not offer price alerts or price comparison, and its FAQ says it has no waiting or notification lists for expired or sold-out deals. Shoppers who want to be notified when a specific item drops in price, or compare sellers before buying, should choose a dedicated tracking or comparison tool instead.
