Our verdict on WhichCar.ie
WhichCar.ie is a free web-based vehicle-shopping site for Irish buyers browsing used cars from selected dealerships. Shoppers can search by make, model and county, then narrow results using vehicle characteristics such as transmission, fuel type, age, mileage and colour. It suits buyers who want to compare dealer stock against a budget or finance scenario before contacting a dealership. The listings provide vehicle details and dealership contact information, and the site describes online reservation options.
Finance filters let shoppers set a price or monthly payment and refine assumptions including term, deposit and annual mileage. That makes WhichCar.ie useful for buyers who want to explore how a finance budget shapes the available results, alongside more familiar vehicle filters. The site also provides finance information. It is a discovery and enquiry tool rather than a single, uniform buying process: online reservation and purchase options depend on the vehicle and dealership, and the extent of completed online purchases may vary.
The focused listing model is its main boundary. WhichCar.ie covers used stock from selected dealerships, so buyers seeking new vehicles or a broader source of listings should look elsewhere. It is also web-only, which suits shoppers comfortable browsing in a browser but does not provide a listed mobile app platform. Choose it if free access to dealer listings, finance-oriented filtering and a possible online reservation fit your search. If you need a consistent purchase and delivery process across every listing, check the dealership's terms before proceeding or consider a service with a more standardized transaction.
