Wherefour is a cloud-based manufacturing ERP for food, beverage, cannabis, cosmetics, nutraceutical, and other product manufacturers. It brings together batch production, work orders, formula and recipe management, inventory, purchasing, MRP, reporting, compliance records, and accounting or ecommerce integrations. Its traceability coverage includes raw materials and finished goods, with forward, backward, and full recall reporting. Barcode workflows, yield recording, and audit histories extend the system from production planning into operational recordkeeping. It is suited to growing manufacturers operating across one or more facilities.

Pricing is configured by operation and requires a custom quote. The published billing options are monthly, quarterly, or annual. The feature set covers production management, recipe scaling, lot tracking, recall workflows, yield results, inventory methods including FIFO, FEFO, and LIFO, barcode labeling and scanning, forecasting, purchase-order automation, and audit trails that record user, date, and time changes. This breadth makes Wherefour relevant when batch control and traceability need to sit alongside purchasing, inventory, and planning rather than operate as separate tools.

Integration and platform fit are central strengths. Wherefour supports web access and an API, with REST API and webhook capabilities. Listed connections include QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Xero, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor, Shopify and Shopify Plus, Amazon FBA, SPS Commerce, ShipStation, LeafLink, Metrc, and Zapier. Manufacturers choosing Wherefour should want a wide operational system with detailed batch records and connected business workflows. A company seeking a narrowly focused batch tool, open-source software, or straightforward published pricing should consider a different fit.
