WatchGuard ThreatSync XDR is a cloud service for incident responders who need to correlate security events and manage response in WatchGuard Cloud. It brings together signals from WatchGuard network devices, endpoint products, and AuthPoint, presenting related detections as incidents for investigation. Small, mid-market, and enterprise teams may use it, with particular fit for organizations already using WatchGuard security products and seeking manual or automated response workflows.

Its strongest fit is the WatchGuard-centered telemetry and response workflow. Incidents, endpoints, and users receive risk scores and levels, helping teams prioritize what to investigate. Response actions include blocking or unblocking IP addresses or domains, isolating devices, stopping processes, deleting or restoring files, and blocking access points. Available endpoint actions vary by product and operating system, with Windows, Linux, and macOS supported depending on the endpoint product and action. Third-party alerts and response actions can be added through ThreatSync Open, with integrations including CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne Singularity, Trend Micro Worry-Free Services, and Fortinet FortiGate.

ThreatSync is included with several WatchGuard security licenses, while ThreatSync Open requires a separately purchased license; the vendor does not publish a standalone price on the reviewed product or help pages. Incident and action management is also available through a management API. The service is a more natural choice for teams invested in WatchGuard that want incident correlation and coordinated response in its cloud environment. Organizations seeking broader telemetry and integrations beyond WatchGuard's ecosystem should compare platforms with wider coverage. It is not a free plan, and third-party expansion adds a licensing consideration.
