A broad clinic platform with strong communications integrations and a higher starting price.

WalnutEMR is a cloud-based electronic medical records and practice management platform for massage therapy practices. It is designed for independent RMTs and multi-therapist clinics, with support for multiple providers, clinic locations, scheduling, online booking, patient records, session documentation, digital forms, reminders, invoicing, payment tracking, messaging, and reporting. Its feature set covers both patient-facing workflows and day-to-day clinic administration.
Pricing is structured around a clinic license and additional users. The clinic license costs $90 USD per month with monthly billing or $81 USD per month with annual billing. Each option includes one concurrent user, secure, compliant infrastructure, and ongoing updates and support. Additional users cost $30 USD per user per month on monthly billing or $27 USD per user per month on annual billing, with full access. There is no free plan, and the one-user starting configuration means multi-therapist clinics need to budget for user add-ons.
WalnutEMR stands out for the breadth of its communications and administrative connections. It integrates with TELUS eClaims, ProviderConnect, HCAI, WSIB, and MCEDT/OHIP, along with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar/iCal, Twilio, Telnyx, SMTP, Mailchimp, SRFax, HumbleFax, and Clover POS. The platform is web-based, with data hosted in Canada, and supports email and SMS appointment reminders plus centralized patient messaging. Clinics that need connected scheduling, documentation, forms, billing, and communications should find the scope relevant; smaller practices seeking a free option or a lower-cost single-user scheduler may prefer a narrower tool.
