A dedicated OEE appliance with broad monitoring, reporting, and integration coverage.

Vorne XL is an edge-based production monitoring appliance for manufacturers that need real-time and historical visibility into equipment performance. It collects production data from one or two sensors, calculates availability, performance, and quality metrics, and supports operators, engineers, and managers. The platform covers automated downtime tracking, production-state monitoring, reject and quality-loss tracking, barcode-based operator input, dashboards, reports, plant-floor displays, alerts, and exports. It is available through web, Windows, API, and self-hosted deployments.
The pricing model is a one-time purchase rather than recurring software billing. XL HD costs USD 4,290 and includes embedded OEE and production-monitoring software, 60+ built-in reports, unlimited users, free software updates, free technical support, and a 3-year warranty. XL810-1 costs USD 4,490 and adds an alphanumeric one-zone scoreboard. XL HD+ costs USD 4,690 with HDMI scoreboard output and a next-generation hardware platform. XL Touch costs USD 4,990 and adds HDMI output, touch interaction, and built-in reporting. All listed models use the XL software platform, while a 90-day free trial is also available.
Vorne XL stands out for combining production capture with operational analysis: top-losses and Six Big Losses views, configurable dashboards, historical reporting, real-time Andon displays, and OEE calculation are included in the product scope. Integration options span PLC, MES, ERP, SQL databases, reporting systems, and CMMS, with REST API and SQL data integration available. The dedicated appliance format suits plants that want on-premises monitoring and plant-floor hardware, while organizations seeking a software-only or AI-enabled OEE product should look elsewhere. XL is a strong fit for manufacturers prepared for an upfront hardware purchase and a structured, site-based deployment.
