Vanta is a cloud-based compliance and trust management platform for organizations automating security and compliance programs. Its scope covers continuous control monitoring, automated tests, evidence collection, framework management, risk assessments, vendor risk management, remediation workflows, security questionnaires, and customer-facing Trust Centers. Vanta supports frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, HITRUST, USDP, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, CMMC, PCI DSS, NIST CSF, FedRAMP, ISO 27701, and ISO 27017. It is available through the web and API, with integrations for AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Cloudflare, Jira, GitHub, and Asana.
The published plans show a progression from foundational compliance to broader governance capabilities. Essentials includes one compliance framework, an agentic policy generator, automated evidence collection, basic reporting and audit workflows, and a Trust Center. Plus adds automated policy onboarding, AI-powered questionnaire automation, and Access Management. Professional adds customizable risk management, dashboards and reporting, an Advanced Trust Center, custom monitoring tests and automation, and advanced reporting. Enterprise provides a fully customizable package and advanced GRC capabilities. According to the vendor's pricing page, pricing is handled through a demo request for personalized pricing.
Vanta fits organizations that want compliance operations connected to risk, vendor, remediation, and customer trust workflows rather than a narrow evidence-collection tool. Its control mapping, automated testing, API and private integrations, and AI features support programs spanning multiple frameworks and operational teams. Organizations needing custom monitoring, advanced reporting, or broader GRC capabilities should look at Professional or Enterprise, while teams establishing a first framework may find Essentials more aligned with their scope. Buyers should also account for the possibility that Third-party Risk Management is an add-on depending on the plan. Vanta is less suitable for teams seeking transparent self-serve pricing or a narrowly focused compliance utility.
