Our verdict on Upward
Upward is a dating service for people seeking intentional relationships, shared values and marriage-oriented goals. Members build profiles with values and relationship-intention fields, browse nearby people, swipe right to like or left to pass, and chat after a mutual match. It is available on iOS, Android and the web, with distance and age-range seeking preferences. Its focus may suit Christian daters who want a structured swipe experience; people seeking a less intention-led format may prefer another app.
The free plan provides the core profile, browsing, swiping and mutual-match chat experience. Premium adds unlimited likes and rewinds, five Super Likes per week, one Boost each month and no ads. Elite includes Premium benefits and visibility of who likes you. Platinum includes Premium and Elite features, plus three Notes per week, additional swiper filters, Priority Likes and message read receipts. According to the vendor’s help page, subscription prices vary by platform and region; Google Play states subscriptions start at $9.99 in the U.S. That is a starting point, not a comparable price for every tier or platform.
