Uptake Fleet is a cloud predictive-maintenance platform for commercial and mixed vehicle fleets. It combines telematics, sensor signals, fault codes and maintenance history to help maintenance teams prioritize repairs and plan inventory. Its intended users include fleet operators in transportation, construction, mining, defense and other sectors. For buyers seeking energy analytics, though, the product’s central focus on vehicle health makes it a poor category fit.

The platform’s strongest depth is predictive monitoring. It continuously monitors voltage, pressure and temperature, uses sensor and fault data for anomaly detection and failure-risk scoring, and supports component survival analytics. Asset risk dashboards, rankings and filtering help teams direct attention to higher-risk vehicles. Virtual diagnostics and maintenance recommendations extend that workflow, while warranty analytics can identify eligible claims. These capabilities suit organizations managing vehicle maintenance; they do not change the product into an energy analytics system.

Uptake Fleet is delivered as cloud SaaS through web and API, and its listed integrations include Geotab, Samsara, Platform Science, Trimble TMT, Fleetio, Trimble, CalAmp and Intellishift. According to Uptake’s AWS Marketplace listing, the price is $25 per vehicle per month under a 12-month contract, with no refunds; the published plan says billing scales by enrolled vehicles. That structure is worth weighing for fleets with changing vehicle counts. Choose it if predictive fleet maintenance and telematics normalization are the needs; energy teams should look elsewhere for analytics centered on energy use or assets.

Uptake pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Scores failure risk and detects anomalies from sensor and fault data.
    • Normalizes telematics data across mixed vehicle fleets.
    • Connects maintenance analytics with work orders and warranty claims.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Its focus is vehicle maintenance, not energy analytics.
    • Billing scales by enrolled vehicles under a paid plan.
    • The published AWS Marketplace offer requires a 12-month contract.
