Unzer is a European payment service provider for merchants selling online, through mobile channels, at physical points of sale, and in marketplaces. Its gateway supports over 200 payment methods, including cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, invoice, instalments, SEPA Direct Debit, and bank transfer. It also covers payment processing, transaction management, acquiring, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and real-time credit checks. The product fits merchants that need broad payment-method coverage across web, API, and commerce channels.

Pricing is split between two paid plans. E-Commerce Payment costs €19 per month, includes a transaction fee from 1.50%, and has a one-time setup fee of €149. It also includes plugins for major shop systems. Point-of-Sale Payment costs €29 per month, includes a transaction fee from 0.99%, and has a one-time setup fee of €99. There is no free plan. Merchants should compare the monthly fees, setup fees, and transaction rates with their sales channels before choosing a plan.

Integration options include Payment Pages, UI Components, a REST API, PHP and Java SDKs, and plugins for Shopify, Shopware, Magento, and OXID. Unzer adds recurring payments for supported methods, marketplace payments with commission calculation and seller onboarding, automated reconciliation, transaction reporting, and buy-now-pay-later options. This breadth suits European merchants managing varied payment types, recurring billing, or marketplace flows. Businesses needing only a narrow card-processing setup may find this wider feature set unnecessary.
