UNISTELLAR App is a free mobile companion for compatible UNISTELLAR smart telescopes. It is designed for telescope owners who want to control an instrument wirelessly, browse celestial targets, follow observations live, and manage captured images from an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. The catalog contains more than 5,000 celestial objects, while celestial and terrestrial planetariums, favorites, and watch-later lists support planning before an observation session. Telescope settings are also available within the app.
Its strongest fit is the UNISTELLAR ecosystem. Wireless control works over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and GoTo automatic pointing and tracking help direct the telescope toward selected targets. The live observation feed includes picture-in-picture viewing, while image adjustment tools, gallery storage, PNG sharing, and RAW downloads extend the app beyond basic remote control. Connections with NASA and the SETI Institute add a citizen-science dimension, allowing users to participate in missions alongside their regular observing workflow.
