Ubisoft Connect review
A useful Ubisoft hub with a free launcher and optional game subscriptions.

Ubisoft Connect is Ubisoft’s free Windows launcher and gaming service for accessing, managing, and organizing Ubisoft games. It suits players who want one place for their Ubisoft library, social features, rewards, and access to Ubisoft+ subscriptions. Its scope is centered on Ubisoft games rather than serving as a general-purpose launcher, so players whose libraries and subscriptions are mainly elsewhere may find less reason to make it their hub.
The free service includes a customizable game library, Steam friend importing, personalized recommendations, cross-platform chat and friends, and cross-progression for supported games. Players can also access free games, trials, betas, Units, in-game rewards, and Ubisoft Store discounts. These features make Connect useful beyond launching installed games, but cross-progression and cloud-save support vary by game; players should check support for the titles they care about rather than assume every game carries progress across platforms.
Ubisoft+ adds subscription catalogs with two monthly PC options in the published plans. Classics costs $7.99 per month and offers an evolving selection of PC games, standard editions, and a 20% discount on games included in the plan. Premium costs $17.99 per month and includes 145+ PC games, new releases on day one and early access when available, most premium editions and DLC, monthly game rewards, and play on Xbox. Choose Connect for its free Ubisoft library and social layer; consider a subscription if its catalog fits your play habits. Premium’s extra catalog and edition benefits may not justify the higher monthly price for someone who only wants the launcher, and Ubisoft+ availability and benefits vary by country, plan, platform, and purchase channel.
