TTSFree is an online text-to-speech service for converting written text into downloadable MP3 audio. It is aimed at creators, educators, developers, businesses and accessibility use cases that need multilingual voice generation through a web interface or API. The service supports more than 140 languages, with controls for speech speed, pitch, volume and pauses. Commercial use of generated audio is allowed, and background music can be added through its music library, SoundCloud and YouTube integrations.

Its pricing structure covers both occasional and higher-volume work. The Guest plan is free and allows 500 characters per conversion, 50 conversions per day and access to 50+ voices. The free Free User plan raises the limit to 2,000 characters per conversion, 500,000 characters per month and 100 conversions per day, with 100+ voices. Basic costs $5 per month or $50 per year and adds 10,000-character conversions, 2,000,000 monthly characters, unlimited daily conversions, SSML and API text-to-speech. Premium costs $20 per month or $200 per year, with 40,000-character conversions, 10,000,000 monthly characters, 5,000,000 API characters per month, 300+ voices and Premium AI voices. Additional character packs cost $2 per 1M characters and remain valid for 30 days.

TTSFree fits buyers who value broad language coverage, commercial-use rights and a low entry price over a wide range of delivery formats. Its adjustable controls, SSML support on paid plans and API access make it suitable for both browser-based production and programmatic workflows. The main constraint is output format: generated audio is available as MP3. Free users also work within conversion and character quotas, while larger workloads require Basic, Premium or additional character packs. Choose it for multilingual MP3 production and straightforward API use; consider an alternative if you need another export format or a different audio workflow.
