Truto Accounting API review
A customizable accounting API for building multi-provider financial integrations.

Truto Accounting API gives SaaS and AI product teams a normalized REST interface for connecting customer-facing software to accounting providers. It supports read and write access for accounts, invoices, payments, transactions, tax rates, tracking categories and journal entries. Provider authentication flows support OAuth and API keys, while real-time pass-through requests extend access to provider-specific operations. Teams building one accounting connection layer across multiple products are the clearest fit.
Pricing is structured per connector per year. The Expansion plan costs $999 per connector per year and includes unlimited connections and companies, unlimited API calls, standard connectors, RapidBridge data sync, unified webhooks and up to five environments. The Enterprise plan costs $1,999 per connector per year and adds standard and Enterprise connectors, unlimited environments, on-premise deployment availability, single tenancy, SSO, an SLA guarantee and business continuity protection. A 30-day trial is available, but there is no free plan.
Its standout capability is control over a shared accounting schema without giving up provider-specific access. JSONata-based schema customization can adapt mappings, while outbound webhooks with event subscriptions support event-driven workflows. The integration list includes Brightpearl, Coupa, ERPNext, FreeAgent, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Wave, Xero and Zoho Books. Choose Truto when broad provider coverage, two-way access and customization matter; teams needing a free option or lower connector costs should consider alternatives.
