Trimble ProContractor is a cloud-based contractor management and accounting system for small and medium-sized construction companies. It brings bidding and estimating, job-cost tracking, project management, accounting, document management and field reporting into one product. Accounting coverage includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, construction payroll, employee time cards, projects, equipment and materials. That breadth suits firms seeking a connected system for office accounting and construction operations rather than a narrowly focused bookkeeping tool.

Pricing is handled through Trimble’s sales process: the product page directs prospective customers to request pricing or a demo, so buyers should plan for a sales conversation before selecting a package. The feature set centers on construction-specific controls, including cost-code management, AIA, progress, unit and time-and-material billing, retainage calculations and release, and work-in-progress tracking. WIP tools calculate percent complete, cost to complete and projected costs, giving finance and project teams shared measures for monitoring contract performance. Payroll and employee time-card processing extend that control into workforce administration.

Platform coverage spans web, Windows, iOS and Android, with cloud and mobile deployment. ProContractor Mobile synchronizes project data, daily field reports and employee time cards, allowing field submissions to flow into office processes. Document management and field-to-office reporting further connect project information across locations. The product is a strong fit for growing contractors that need payroll, job costing, billing and field reporting together. Firms that require published pricing, an open-source option or support beyond the documented channel should consider alternatives with those characteristics.
