Trengo review
A broad omnichannel workspace for larger teams that need structured WhatsApp workflows.

Trengo is a customer engagement platform for support, sales, and commerce teams that need WhatsApp alongside other service channels. Its shared inbox brings together WhatsApp Business, email, social messaging, live chat, and voice, while teams can assign conversations to users or groups. The product is best suited to larger teams that need centralized communication, structured routing, and automation rather than a WhatsApp-only help desk.
The published plans show a paid product with a 7-day trial and no free plan. Boost costs €299 per month when billed annually and includes 10 users, 500 conversations per month, a shared omnichannel inbox, and WhatsApp Business API access. Pro costs €499 per month when billed annually and raises the included allowance to 20 users and 1,500 conversations per month, while adding advanced security and integrations. Enterprise provides custom users, a custom conversation allowance, and tailored integrations and support. Teams comparing entry cost should account for both the included user and conversation limits.
Trengo’s main advantage is breadth. Rule-based automation, round-robin distribution, approved WhatsApp templates, AI agents for repetitive queries, SLAs, and conversation reporting cover the operational layer around customer messaging. Integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Zapier, and Slack. REST APIs, webhooks, a website-widget API, and custom app or channel resources extend its platform fit. Choose Trengo if your team needs multiple channels and workflow controls; choose a narrower WhatsApp tool if you do not need omnichannel coverage or the higher paid entry point.
