Treetask is a browser-based job management application for tree surgery businesses, covering the workflow from site surveys and estimates through scheduling, completed work and invoicing. It is aimed at one-person businesses and firms with several crews, with field workers accessing jobs and completing surveys offline on phones while office users manage calendars, quotes and invoices from a laptop. Customer records can include multiple sites and complete job history, keeping operational and administrative information together.
The published plans show pricing of £40 per business per month for up to three people and £60 per business per month for up to five people. Both plans include all Treetask features, unlimited surveys, quotes, jobs and invoices, photo storage, offline mode and a QuickBooks connection. Teams above five people are priced according to team size. The pricing page states that Treetask is free until 30 November 2026, with the listed paid prices applying from December 2026. The feature set includes sequentially numbered invoices, VAT handling, branded PDFs, crew holidays, certificate expiry tracking, risk assessments, accident records and crew inductions.
Treetask’s strongest fit is for crews that need compliance workflows alongside everyday job administration. Equipment records can track service, inspection and LOLER information, while surveys support custom forms, photos, notes and offline access. QuickBooks can synchronize customers, estimates, invoices and payment status; calendar connections are available for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. Access is web-only, and the product does not include route optimization, so businesses prioritizing route planning or a broader mobile platform may need a different operational approach. Choose Treetask when safety records, field paperwork and invoicing are central; look elsewhere if route efficiency is the main requirement.
